Raining and thundering loud. We woke into a storm. From deep sleep to suddenly awake, surprisingly cold and utterly numb. Raining and thundering loud. We woke into a sunless beach that seemed to have never known what warm felt like. A sky so shaded, covered with the darkest of clouds, far and wide, the world roared loud! I felt the sound pound, of lightning, inside and out, it hit me hard...  

I found my feet buried deep. My hand holding tightly around another's hand. Sitting trapped together, we felt each cold drop hit our face. The rain slowly dripped like a tear tearing down our cheeks. The clouds kept exploding, they weeped and moaned all around us, recklessly ... drip, drop, it wouldn't stop... 

The ocean breeze blew; violently freezing through our hands, snapping us apart. Separating us from what we held together. Sinking into a haze, the sand began to surround me, and we grew apart. We grew apart in this shaded land... 

All I did was sit alone and look high into the shaded sky, I felt like there was nothing else to do, because all I could do was keep my head up and wait... no matter how long I waited, nothing changed, nothing happened. 

I sunk into my seclusion and remembered how things used to be. Before this morning, and into last night, I had once believed I finally found my light; but now, I felt trapped, trapped into something I just wanted to escape from. I sank deeper and deeper into the sand, my indecision of what to do next took me away. 

Time ceased to exist while I sat and waited for the sun to rise. Somehow hopeful... and always thinking, wondering... how and why... 

This hellish storm thundered through these wretched clouds; roaring, powerful and loud. I felt all the emotions take me; sad and lonely, mad and hurting. My heart beated with the thunder from the sky... It came from inside, so dramatically and so profound, so much to contain, the truth poured out of me, splashing into this mess around me... I sank into this destruction of what I knew, and drowned into the final break of reality. At that last moment of breathe, I had finally sunk away from my fantasy. It was clear; my relationship tormented me more than the weather. 

Striking as quick as lightning, we snapped! Within an instant...  we were distant... and just like that I finally began to see beyond this shaded love. The sand let me go, the thunder stopped, the rain disappeared with the clouds, and the darkness began to fade. I was free.

Free and alone, back to everything that I had known. I felt an embrace by the only thing above, through dark clouds and a shaded sky. Finally... I began to see the sun rise. The brightest sun seared through the rain, filling the shore with light, I was sure I had done what was right. So refreshing and so pure, my heart was pierced by the one and only cure... the knowledge and courage to endure... because regardless of what occurred, the sun still rises brighter everyday.



No storm is too much endure. No sand can ever hold you trapped. Stay Wild. Run Free. Wild Child.

Shaded Love's Message: 

Shaded Love takes us through a dark but profound journey of healing from a broken relationship. Remembering how love made us feel; complete and accepted. Then remembering how we felt when we lost it; shattered like broken glass without glue. All we can do is pick up the pieces, and try to keep it together. Though dramatic at first, we eventually reflect. We find where we went wrong, and begin to work towards moving on. At a point of no return, we find our strength and our will to succeed. Ever hopeful and more confident in our own personal ability, we fuel our will for love. We continue the search... knowing now that even in the darkest shades of love... the sun is shining everyday.

Walking in the night, pile of broken glass in sight. Piece after broken piece. Mysteriously abandoned, shattered light. Reflecting an imprisoning sight. There was something about this night. I was captured by this fascinating beauty tonight... 

Memories of such mysterious beauty whither into thought. Beaming with a stunning embrace. Sweet, warm embrace... cold, capable hands. These hands remember more than I know. Once firm, once complete. Shadows of moments passed. Forever apart. I'll never forget her caring and loving heart. 

For every moment of random joy, shattered memories, and broken hopes, I'll remind myself of that moment. Embracing moments.
