Over a quarter of a million people have visited the site in 2020 and made it what it is today.
We want to celebrate this with all in our growing community, and what better way than sharing a free compilation with some of the best and most influential artists in the genre?

The Black Light Disco funky chicken rotisserie returned to the MyHouse Radio airwaves with a finger lickin’ selection of rhythm sticks. 

Hosting the show this week from BLD Towers was our very own Zinger, Goz who was flirting with danger and laughing in the face of fate as he weaved his way through the musical chicken coop.

Joining us this week on special guest duties is a vinyl junkie who needs no introduction, but we will anyway because we’re decent folk - the one and only Gamadon. 

Gamadon, aka Gavin Mac Donagh has been manipulating the wax since 1996, and was a long standing resident at Project Basement based in Galway, Ireland. We were delighted to welcome him for his BLD debut and when this went out live, boy did his set lift the roof off!

He’s the little funker & disco lover from downtown Bucharest, born and raised in the old school rhythms of the b-boy world where he first laid his dancing moves and grooves in his childhood. From dancers, hip-hopers and graffers, inspiration flowed into what later on would become his fluid musical style that has house vibes right at the centre of it. With real inspiration and a little “keeping it real” mantra, the artist made his first steps into the musical world.
