I was given an assignment for a songwriting class in the Fall of 2020. We were prompted to write about our father's unfinished hopes and dreams. This story expresses these losses through my dad's journey within life. I performed this song virtually in December of 2020 and never made it into a studio recording. For my final graduation project I knew that this song had to be the first one I released as an artist. My family inspired me to take on this project because they have believed and supported me through my college and music journey enormously. This record is a tribute to my dad, but it's also a testame
