Ezra James is a self-taught DJ with a deep passion for music. As a festival-goer for over 20 years and interest in a wide variety of sounds, expect "genre fluid" mixes from this LGBTQ+ DJ. "Genre fluid" sets are a dynamic mix of progressive and melodic sounds, including techno, trance, and even deep vibes - because a set should tell a full story. Ezra James will take you on a rollercoaster of sound with hard drops and beautiful melodic breaks - often starting with a deeper vibe and ending with hype.
Ezra James is based in Seattle. He picked up mixing as a personal hobby before the pandemic. Since the start of 2022 he decided to embark on the journey of learning more, taking his hobby outside the walls of home and streaming on Twitch.
Over the past two years Ezra James' abilities and confidence have improved, but the learning never stops. Ezra James doesn't shy away from taking risks with his mixes, often streaming unplanned sets letting the natural flow and feeling take the lead. He has learned at the heart of a good mix, is simply having fun and embracing the raw emotion we all feel from music.
