We are happy to welcome Maceo Plex to Drumcode with the fourth instalment of his Conjure series, ‘Conjure Infinity’. Featuring two tracks ‘Conjure Dreams’ and ‘Conjure Floyd’, both are peak time monsters that introduce two very different elements. ‘Conjure Dreams’ utilises a groovy, melodic bass that is reinforced using tight thumping drums to shatter any dance floor into the universe. ‘Conjure Floyd’ builds into a more ‘heads down’ techno vibe with a very interesting breakdown. Two sure fire tracks to ignite the floor.

After appearing on our sister label Truesoul and also the A-sides Volume 2, dubspeeka releases his first full EP on Drumcode. Basing his sound heavily on his uniquely dark and twisted melodies, dubspeeka has created a brooding, atmospheric EP that capture each individual feeling on the techno scale from bouncing, energetic tracks to melancholic offerings. His use of Percussive sounds add energy to tracks such as Primary K290 and his array of eloquent lead lines add depth and character that can be heard on Primary K293.

Victor Calderone has stepped up for his first solo release on Drumcode with his two track single, ‘Burden’. Featuring two energetic tracks, ‘Skin’ and ‘Burden’, Victor has used effected vocals to create funky rhythms over the top of some steaming kick drums. The synth stabs lend themselves well across this EP particularly in ‘Burden’ where they really augment the flow of the track. The use of percussion phrases throughout both tracks on the single also reinforces the grooves and adds character to create a distinctive sound that keeps the single fresh and exciting.

Label head Thomas Schumacher returns to Electric Ballroom with two brand new tracks. In true Schumacher style he showcases his knack for analogue basslines, state of the art sound design and sophisticated production.

Featuring heavily on most of Drumcode’s shows due to his impeccable DJ’ing, Bart Skils is back with a new EP flexing his signature rolling sound and hooks. Caressing from one track to another, the use of pads in this EP and using uneasy sounds to build tension in each track. The swelling bass within each track manoeuvres the tracks into dark after hour’s territory with the help of the subtle percussion.

Darkroom Dubs follow up the release of Pedro Aguiar's bottomless Landscapes And Heartbreaks LP with the first offering in 2 years from label bosses Silicone Soul.

With a back catalogue stretching back 17 years and having touched the likes of Soma, VC Recordings and most recently Deep Vibes Recordings alongside Sascha Dive, the Glaswegian duo's latest is a typically spectral concoction of tightly packed drums, moody chords and warm, sweeping bass synths.

Second Door On The Third Floor kicks things off with a taut 909 groove ahead of a plunge into a thick churning bass synth. Glacial sheets are sat atop an arresting spoken vocal as the tenor thickens and thins throughout. Help Will Come then drives a sharp kick and under capacious textures and distant mechanical tones a signature hot and cold marriage emerges - one that fans of the Darkroom Dubs series will relish.

Fighting Gravity then renders a chilling lunar landscape as it suffuses gentle percussive synth stabs with rich, atonal strings that work to round off another coup from a pair of extolled veterans.
