Found the time to do a remix of this anthem from prodigy, Olly P. A very nice and uplifting tune I had to have a go at remixing. Production-wise, I was trying to be very experimental and just went with the flow. Doing so meant I had a nice track to mix and mash for an intro to a mix I'm working on (Best Of 7D). It also meant that the track is over 8 minutes long! 

It's not something I'm worried about though. It was a joy to produce. Much of the track is breakbeat, as you'll obviously hear. Breakbeats are fun. Far less repetition and more space to maneuver with creativity. I think the blend between Breakbeat and Hardcore worked. The biggest neck ache was the slowed breaks though. I tried everything to get them sounding right, but nothing seemed to work. In the end, I made the best out of the situation :D 

Anyway, the artwork is worth mentioning itself, because it took twice as long to do as the track itself. It's totally new. Replaced Ravefox with an anime character - simply because I wanted to try a new drawing style and dabble in something new. The background is a montage of various photo's. I've sampled textures and landscapes not much unlike how I sample in music.
