The Warsaw-based DJ and producer deliver four energetic tracks in his brash and sophisticated signature style. The EP opens with the title track 'Rigorous', welcoming us with its brutally massaging kick drum complemented by a dystopian synth theme. Next on the list, 'Draco' is a soundtrack for reisefieber before journeying into the cosmic vacuum. 'Scrupulous' with its Detroit twang delivers a peak-time tool whether it's the beginning or end of the night. Stringent' continues its flight through analog arteries, flowing with high-octane synth sounds, leading to a finale that hides interpretations by Alarico and Cratan.

Meet Phase Line, Lithuania's techno newcomer. Inspired by the pulsating sounds of Lizdas, Kablys and Opium clubs, he kicked off his DJ career in 2019 with borrowed equipment and a burning curiosity. Joining local party and promotion community “Orkaite” led him into production, and his debut track found a spot on their first compilation. Now he is a beloved resident DJ of the freshest techno club Elastica in Vilnius and was performing at events involving names such as 999999999, Dax J, SNTS, Kobosil, CLTX, Sina XX to name a few. While rooted in techno, Phase Line thrives on surprising his audience, refusing to be bound by a single genre. Phase Line „Coming To Senses“ EP was just released on our sub-label @gars-records. A perfect occasion to compile and expose the next REBELCASE episode.

Swimming in deep and seemingly calm waters has turned into a kind of extreme sport in a music scene that keeps cranking up the BPMs and toughening its vibe. That's why stumbling upon EPs like the one Madrid-based producer Blovk is dropping on Gordo Trax with this "Quiescence" feels like a bit of a luxury.

From his studio, where cables snake into his modular synthesizers like injecting venom, Blovk crafts four original tracks that showcase an artist hitting his stride. It's a journey through a analog, metallic, and textural sonic landscape.

In this "Quiescence" EP, you'll find futuristic minimalism, warm and cyclical sequences resonating in an organic space, techno landscapes, and a hunger for what's to come.

Adding to the mix, there are remixes by Viels and Fase Bipolar. The Italian artist, a regular on Warm Up Recordings, serves up a beautifully rounded, ethereal remix. Meanwhile, the Fase Bipolar duo, based on Sungate Records, injects their characteristic robotic groove into a dancefloor-oriented remix.
