Sameheads & Berlin Club Memes have teamed up to kickstart an initiative bringing awareness to the ever increasing numbers, and problems faced by those who find themselves homeless in the neighbourhood we live, Neukölln.

This physical tape cassette compilation (an edition of 100) and digital album, is now on sale via the following link:

Since this horrendous mess began I have been keeping in touch with Lectromagnetique, our friend and valued member of this community. We have chatted several times a day about what is going on in his country - Ukraine.

Like his fellow citizens he is full of determination and frankly keeping a cool head where I am sure I would be breaking down.

Many of you will know his debut was on Bass Agenda Recordings back in 2015, and has released others on the label and elsewhere since.

He remains passionate about music, of course. And so, as a one off, Bass Agenda Recordings is making a brief appearance from its hiatus to release this EP.

Two killer tracks of dark, powerful Electro, in the style we have come to know, love , and expect from him.

This is about keeping on keeping on, not stopping, not giving the enemy the satisfaction of pausing passions, and doing what we in this community do best - create to cope and help others get through.

All money from the release will go to Ivan and his family. The label will make nothing from this.

After gracing sublabel Charlois three times over the years, Timothy J. Fairplay finally lands on Pinkman with ‘Convictions That Stick’, furthering his sonic excursions into raw, jacking, yet evocative house music. ‘Convictions’ rattles through drum-machine workouts topped with soaring synthlines, inviting you to spiral in the club's darkest corners. Between the shuffled claps, ominous melodics and delay-laden syncopation, 'Convictions' playfully evokes both the mechanical exploration of urban space, and the claustrophobic intimacies encountered within it. There's even a nod towards 1980s’ cult cinema hit 'The Bronx Warriors' at the end. Naturally, these six tracks find a perfect home on Pinkman.

We are excited to introduce the fifth solo album on our platform by Lithuanian producer Shaknis, titled Neturi Vietos. Shaknis is a highly talented producer, mixing and mastering nerd, analog gear collector, Eurorack synth builder, and all-around genuine lad. His new album showcases a blend of pure electro with elements of breakbeat. Be sure to grab a cassette, and inside the J-card, you’ll find a picture of the synths he used to create this album. The release date is set for September 20th, available on both tape and digital formats.

A statement? Or self-reflection? Energetic moments of introspection, reflecting inability to fit in to a predefined reality. Shaknis (:/root) comes from a realm where genres blur and expectations dissolve, refusing to conform to any single style or category. Recorded and produced by Darius Siuipys (Shaknis), somewhere in Siauliai, Lithuania.

Comprised of raw recordings, spontaneously conducted between 2012 to 2020 in Venice and later in Milan, Machinete are Marco Segato (La Serpiente) and Pietro Giubilato (TLXCO) executing and modulating rough post-industrial beats into pummeling electro structures with a brute sense of nocturnal acid in the air which strives to bring power to its knees.

All revenues from this album will be donated to The Ghassan Abu Sittah Children's Fund (gascf.org). The fund provides medical assistance to children in critical need and supports the medical sector in Gaza and Lebanon.
