Some of my custom Solaris programs recorded in mono with and without fx, through modified Toft ATB analog mixer. Musically not very interesting, but to give an idea of how close to an analog synthesizer the fully digital Solaris can sound. Most sounds have been recorded without fx, but after 2:40 I introduce some analog Electro Harmonix guitar pedal fx (commented in the timeline). In the last two sounds I used the Waldorf wavetables and "Jaws" (JP-80x0 supersaw) waveforms with logic digital stereo delay and Relab LX480 reverb. Some of the sounds utilize the built-in eq of the Solaris, but not the fx.

This is a compilation of parts from recordings I made when creating patches for the Prophet X synthesizer. I recorded much more, but edited down to the the best bits. There are no additional effects or processing. All effects are from the synth itself.

DISCLAIMER: There is no particular musicianship in these demos. They were recorded whilst patching mostly with one hand on the keyboard and the other hand tweaking knobs. The purpose of uploading is to give an idea of the tone, sound and character of the Prophet X as explored by one sound designer.
