This track was made to try rhythmic patterns based on the sequence of the n first integers. Events are spaced according to these patterns. 

Montage polynomial

This track was made by recording sounds made by a banjo, a guitar, an electric bass and a glockenspiel and convoluting them with each other. I wrote a script that made all the convolutions and generated around 6 gig of new strange material from which I made that piece.

Quatuor orthonormal

This track was made by adding enormous amounts of harmonics well into the aliasing realm.

This piece is based on the extension of the system developed for "Montage polynomial". Sequences of integers are now combined into sequences of  tuples. A huge quantity of patterns were generated from these sequences and I could search them by duration or number of events to fit the needs of the composition. Very complex rhythmic structures are then made by superposing and morphing those patterns.

A random graph generator was made based on David Cope's EMI system. The goal was to use musical style definitions to generate a map of musical intentions. The map was a directed graph of nodes containing a symbol from the SPEAC system used by Cope. Statements, Preparations, Extensions, Antecedants and Conclusions were dictated by the machine, and the sounds and durations were chosen by the human.
