Ferenc Szanati (Euphonic Moments - HU)

Ferenc Szanati has been working as a DJ since 2007, when he won the Justmusic.FM, the most listened to online radio DJ competition at the time.
Over time, his musical tastes also took shape, striving for quality selections in each style. Initially, progressive house, then deep house, and now mostly dub techno define their sets. In addition to the music, the sound quality is also important to him so that the music always sounds as good as possible on different systems, which is why he is committed to vinyl.
In 2011, he received a regular opportunity as a resident DJ and editor at Helikon Radio Keszthely's Radio program, Cocktail, to make his favourite styles available on terrestrial broadcasting in the region.
In 2015, they co-founded the Euphonic Moments series of events with his friend AeRo, This series has become a permanent program on  Radio Tilos (Budapest, FM90.3 and online)since that time.. Dub techno-centric broadcasts can be heard every two weeks, in addition to live DJ sets and foreign guest mixes.
He has visited places such as Club Dallas, Nemdebár, Mika Tivadar's Nightclub, Larm, Dürer Garden, Picnic Manufactory, Gátőrház, Aurora, Telep, and Müszi, Deep Vision Night Camp.

We are excited to be able to showcase the eleventh Far Blue concept, put together by @Pedrocapelossi. 

In addition to his own stellar productions, which can be found in this mix as well, Pedro never ceases to tell a powerful story in his sets. His work over recent times has been heavily influenced by the pandemic, the war and the past winter, resulting in a rather dark mood and a more introspective approach. The winter seems to be endless, but there is always hope in the end.

We feel like Pedro has wonderfully told his story through this mix, and we hope you feel the same way after this 1 hour and 25 minutes long deep and dubby interpretation of Far Blue.

Materielle (fka ILAYDA) is a Los Angeles based hypnotic and dub techno DJ & Producer and has been a part of the underground music scene for over 2 decades. She has been working for Native Instruments for 7 years and founded DECKREKORD, a label and live online venue channel, and has released on Delusional Records. Known for her 15 hour+ virtual event curations during the pandemic, every promoter was anxious to book her once everything opened back up. Avenue Red is proud to present a pair of masterful deep/dub techno mixes created by Alastair Kelly, who comes from the seaside town of Ryde on the north edge of the Isle of Wight, just a few miles off England's south-central coast.

Alastair is the man behind the awesome Lempuyang label, which goes from strength to strength as it builds out its impressive roster of luminaries in the deep/dub techno sphere. Lempuyang has pressed and dispatched new weapons-grade materials from many of Avenue Red's most beloved artists, having clocked up 10 releases since the label's inception in late 2021.

These artists include some of our previous guests and good friends: OHM, Octal Industries and Hydergine; Manchester's Vinyl Exchange record shop boss and artist J.S. Zeiter; Mosaic label boss Steve O'Sullivan AKA Bluetrain; Icelandic legend Yagya; Japanese artist Altone; Moscow artist Anton Kubikov; Canadian dub techno specialist Deadbeat and mysterious mad hatter Sa Pa, among others.

It's truly staggering how far this label has come in 1 short year! These two mixes from Alastair help to colour in the picture of his inspirations and trace how these roots extend to the shoots of his flourishing new imprint, along the way showcasing some of the sublime material it has released so far. And now for part 1...

Bio/
Jurij Sophijsky, aka Shebuzzz, is a one-man electronic project based in the city of Bendery, Transnistria (Moldova).
Since 2007, he has produced music starting his first steps with the broken beats: "Amenistic" Drum & Bass/Atmospheric Drumfunk, Breaks, 170bpm Electronica, 2-step Garage, continuing with a deeper dark sounding as Space and Dark Ambient, Downtempo, allowing himself to work with Noise experiments of different types of the sound sources.
This lasted until 2011, when his interest quietly moved toward the ground beats imbued with gradual attention to compositions in experimental Deep/Dub Techno sounds, flavoured by Detroit, Acid and Industrial elements, with a spread from 115 to 200 BPM.
Review of his debut Deep House/Dub Techno mini-album "Grasses of the Past" (which was released on German label DimbiDeep Music in 2013 as five Digital Download tracks, including the remix from owner of the label Matthias Springer and later half-released as split on 12'' vinyl together with electronic music producer Lars Leonhard from Dusseldorf) in one of the oldest, and famous German magazine "Raveline" dedicated to electronic dance music.
In the last few years, he had releases on labels such as Diametral (DE), Eintakt (DE), Labrynth (US), Moira Audio (HU), ODrex Music (DE), Omni Music (UK), Opilec Music (IT), SUBSIST (ES), Cold Tear Records (LT), Greyscale (LT)...
He is actively recording works with his old friends Encrypted Music Source and Heavenchord.

Bassiani Podcast’s 16th episode, recorded at the club’s season closing night, comes from Antonin Jeanson, best known as Antigone, whose entry into the world of electronic music has been highly acclaimed with his debut EP "Forbidden Works" on Construct Re-Form back in 2011, followed by releases such as “The Astral Traveller” and “The Deadly Games Of Gamma”. The next step for the Parisian artist was the well-know Token Records, putting out 2 EPs named ”Cantor Dust" and "Saudade” illustrating hypnotic, melodic and melancholic style of his productions. This very personal touch was what gave him the residency at Concrete and has opened the doors of the worlds most respected clubs.

Antigone who is at the forefront of the French techno scene offers up to 130 minute excursion into the mind-bending textures. He builds things quickly, delving deep into his record collection with dark ambience and energetic mood.
