To celebrate the occasion here are two of Ray Mang’s better known and loved tracks together on one 180gram Mangled 12” for you!
Number One first surfaced on his solo debut ’96 Noid release. It gained widespread support in the clubs and went on to be featured on both DFP’s De-Luxe House Of Funk and Groove Armada’s Back To Mine compilations as well as his own Mangled LP.
Look Into My Eyes is a blissed out Balearic gem that featured on the B side of Ray’s ’10 DFA release and instantly became a firm favourite for many.

Review@junodownload: One-man production line turned label boss Adam Funk dons his Disco Re Edit guise to showcase another selection of tried and tested, party-starting treats. He begins by serving up an extended version of a semi-familiar, P-funk era treat - think Prince style guitars, cowbells, silly solos and smart grooves - before doffing a cap to early '80s, cock-rocking disco-rock on the heavy "Disco King". He dishes up a killer chunk of Italo influenced disco-rock grandiosity on the killer "Disco Rock (DJ Mix)", before playing around with eyes-closed guitar solos and throbbing synthesizer lines on "From The Space (Extended Mix)". The Hammond-heavy grooves of "Improvisation (Extended Mix)" and soaring, string-laden AOR disco of "In My Heart" complete a solid package.

Disco Re-Edit - Disco Rockin'! (DJ Mix)

For a bit of fun I whipped up a track for Tom and Alex from Triple J to feature on their breakfast show. The criteria was "use as many Mr Freeze puns as possible from the 1997 movie Batman and Robin". The result was 50 seconds of Mr Freeze and 80's Boogie. Upon request I have extended the Jam :)
