++ CLMxGUN 2020 RE-PACK ++

Goodbye 2020. While we truly hope the year to come will be much more forgiving to all, some odd times are still ahead of us, and we need your help to get through them to keep us afloat.

In this time of celebration and end-of-the-year wrap-ups, we wanted to thank you all for your support with a modest gift to round off the end of this rough year. We have brought together in a single pack all our releases and projects of 2020, which you can freely download at the link below. 

The re-pack also includes 26 bonus tracks from our GUN community. Among the participants, you can find some old heads and more recent newcomers, who were incredibly kind to offer you little treats for your ears - a mix of forthcoming material, unreleased edits and still-in-progress demos. Thanks a lot to /pulsr_, 1.5L, 116111, Cosmic Caz, Cralias, GRIG, HeedLess, indigoblue, Lithe, LMN3, M. Tounu, migu, NEW FEAR, nvisible.studio, RareFlora, Rougehotel, S x m b r a, Sha Sha Kimbo, silént phil, SNKLS, Tobey & yaka for their dedication and trust.

It will soon be a year since the music has slowed down due to the COVID crisis. For months, we kept holding the bar, without wavering, with the few financial resources available, but above all thanks to the incredible collective strength the CLMxGUN project has been bringing for several years now. Like many artists and collectives around the world, our financial equilibrium was based on a fine balance between the different projects we released and the events that we loved to organize. The impossibility to promote events since March has had a profound impact on our incomes, and our ability to sustain our activity in a qualitative way.
 
This 2020 RE-PACK is also an opportunity for us to call for donations. We appeal to your kindness, to your support, to you who have been following us for a long time, or recently, who have loved our project, our events, or the concept of collective and open-source music label that we have been trying to develop. With the CLMxGUN project, we intend to foster a spirit of mutual aid and sharing, which happens among the GUN community and through the various projects we run, but which is equally important to develop with our audience and our supporters. 

Your financial support, however small, is crucial to our activity. A major rework of the CLMxGUN organization has been in preparation for a few months, and 2021 will see a new version of GUN, that hopefully will lead to exciting new projects pushing further its collaborative practices, as well as the type of projects we are able to propose to the public.

Proposing high-quality and experimental audiovisual material to the larger number is part of our core values, and that is why we always try to keep our releases and projects freely accessible as much as possible. We want to deeply thank everyone who has supported us in the past, but unfortunately we’re reaching a point where more help is needed if we want to keep going without having to make concessions, and to evolve towards a better model for our participating artists - who already contribute on a voluntary basis, as most of our benefits are used for common resources and infrastructures.

We hope that with your support, we will be able to keep bringing to you moments of escape and relief, which are much needed to navigate these troubling times.

Let’s hope we can celebrate and dance together soon. In the meantime, take care of yourself and those you love.
