Disparition est une émission radiophonique explorant la transformation du monde vivant et les bouleversements de la biodiversité, disparition met à l’honneur des chercheurs et chercheuses, scientifiques et artistes qui étudient ces métamorphoses. 

Chaque épisode donne ainsi la parole à l’un ou l’une d’entre eux, en se focalisant sur un aspect particulier du phénomène de la disparition.
 
Penser comme une oeuvre artistique, disparition se compose également de création sonore issue d’un travail de field recording, d’enregistrement sonore et de captation réalisé en lien avec la thématique de chaque épisode. 

Cette dimension d’hybridation est au coeur de disparition qui entend oeuvrer à son échelle au décloisonnement du monde de la recherche et du milieu artistique !

Faaf Abad is a sound artist, designer and electronic & contemporary music producer living in Paris, France. His practice explores the realms of sound through designed pieces that examine the relationship between people and their environments – questioning how both music and sound evolve to create personal experiences.

His projects range from interactive and multimedia sound design to linear music composition and sound scenography.
His recording methods are a creative foundation of his sound creation process, working around sound perception and personal recording research. 
His concerts and sound installations are distinguished by the spatialization of sound and the intimacy of the listening that is generated.
