Zafiros

Gravity is a Fiction/Surreal concept about life's creations and time.

In Gravity, life is a result of movement and friction between Earth, the Sun, the Moon, elements and minerals that we know and not know.
Thus we are created and perceive life like a record, reading it through time. People, thoughts and things are led by gravity for them to mature.
I use "contradiction" as an example of this friction, which is a conflict between opposite concepts. This can be a turning point that creates or evolves in a new concept or idea. A new born.
Gravity shows this conflict represented in the universe or nature itself going through the same process at a different scale, vast and wide.
This concept represents contradiction as an opportunity, a window that can be opened.
Gravity is divided in two parts:

Space Time and Earth Time (since 3:33)

Gravity

Mineral (concept)

1-Mineral is a surreal representation of the conflict and / or the forces of nature. Of the role that both sides of the coin play in the search for balance and harmony, whether molecular, physical, mental, social, political, cultural, etc. Constantly germinate agreements in a kind of chemical reaction between the poles in order to maintain the balance in their firmament.

1.A-In Mineral I treat the earthly process of the growth of the mineral represented in the endless battles of the native cultures of our planet Earth, protecting their families and their lands of the conquest or its oppressor, its counterpart. Like the tireless struggle that has sustained African American, Latin American culture, discrimination against our races, thinking and color palettes on our skin, denigration and slavery.
It is here, under a macro-vision and under any theme, whether we choose or not, to take part of one of the poles, each being fundamental to its opposite for the creation of a new mineral that is forged in time.

1.B-This concept adapts to the skin of the individual, which is strengthened under experience, competition and survival.
According to, direction and movement of this hardened skin in potential, it attracts its counterpart and / or competition, who triggers this new friction, feeding both parts positively and negatively, which will evolve giving way to a new stage, to the new concept, the new idea, the new life, to the mineral, to the beginning of another new mineral. Mineral

Diminished Concept:

It is a fiction that through surrealism observes and analyzes the communication and interaction between the conscious and subconscious of an individual with the world (its perception of the world or environment).

The communication in this case is transmitted in a spoken, written and / or thought by the subject. While the receiver will be its environment, without the latter being another subject (person) necessarily. It communicates direction, desire and motive, branching into its surroundings. While said environment feeds the senses of the subject in cyclic terms trying to give an answer. Thus generating solutions, answers and new questions to the present conscious, giving way to new directions and practices that will evolve the subconscious of the subject in the long term.

This individual searches, questions and identifies in time the cyclical patterns that appear in front of it (personalities, events, emotions, texts, visions, triumphs and frustrations). Patterns generated by the culminating moments of its gait, which are lost, stagnate, are recorded or knotted in memory, becoming a portion of the ingredients that illuminate the opening and closing of its eyes.

This analysis is the mold of the positive / negative state of the individual, each having their origins and cyclic effects separately in their present state.

In Diminished I express this concept in an urban, mundane and everyday context. Exercises or simple practices that cultivate the skill, the expert with consequences such as happiness and satisfaction, in parallel, mistakes resulting in frustrations or unhappiness.

"Diminished" is the state that alludes to the mind in frustration or dullness of the individual who has hurt its hand under the constant execution or practice of a string instrument chord, this event being one of the seeds for a better strategy or more correct execution of the chord. And at the same time the limitation of the moment and end of a cycle in its learning.
