🗯🗯 Hat sich deine Art und Weise und vielleicht auch dein Stil Musik zu machen geändert? 🗯🗯

Tatsächlich ja. Vor 4-5 Jahren war es noch mehr Progressive House und jetzt kann ich sagen, dass ich im Melodic Techno eher meinen Sound sehe. Letztendlich bleibt es aber immer sehr Melodiös.

🗯🗯 Verwendest du neue Technologie oder bist du eher klassisch unterwegs? 🗯🗯

Da ich damals mit Platten angefangen habe in den 90er, bin ich letztendlich auf CD Player mit Sticks umgestiegen. Demnach liebe ich schon das klassische und möchte die Geschwindigkeit immer noch selbst einpitchen.

🗯🗯 Welcher Track ist für dich ganz besonders in deinem Set?🗯🗯

Alle Tracks haben ihre Besonderheit, sonst würde ich sie nicht spielen :-). Allerdings ist es immer toll seine eigenen neuen Sachen zu testen und die reaktion zu sehen ob und wie es ankommt.

It was an infatuation with electronic music from a young age that sparked the beginning of Nick Berry’s DJ career in the Sydney scene back in 2014. Since then, Berry has made a name for himself through his acute deviation from what is popular, playing uniquely melodic music punctuated by an eclectic mix of deep house and techno - influenced by the 90’s rave era. Fast forward to present day and Berry has shared lineups with DJ Koze, Jimi Jules, Trikk, The Drifter, Oliver Koletzki, Andhim and Gerd Janson to name a few. During the stagnant year of 2020, he maintained his divergence from the conventional when he founded The Anomaly Radio Show alongside Harry Hooper and Milly Lees. The brand is a cultivation of deep electronic music paired with finely curated graphic design to help listeners navigate through the beautiful obscurities of electronic melodies. Anomaly has released 18 radio shows from 18 fiercely talented international artists; Budakid, Invōker, David Mayer, Armonica, Murat Uncuoglu, Phunkadelica, Kris Davis, Aaaron, Stereo MC's, Super Flu and others. The mixes showcase the respective style of each DJ, while contributing to the surreality that is Anomaly. The music is complemented by the dynamic visuals of Leipzig talent - Panthera Krause.
