Hello lovely people, finallyyyyy here it is: my set from Akasha Festival 2021. 

I will never forget this magical morning. This was just something else... working on the Akasha grounds for weeks and then releasing it all into this 6 hours sunrise set that I got to play. So grateful for this morning and that hell of a vibe!! 

Fasten your seatbelt and enjoy the ride! 🚀

PS: the reason it took me so long to upload this set is that I had to re-record a little missing part. I played for 4 hours and was then told to stop. So I packed up all my things and unplugged the recorder. As it turned out I was allowed to play another 2 magical hours. I pressed play on my recorder and 1,5 hours into the second part of my set I realized that I didn’t plug the recorder into the mixer. At least I luckily recorded the athmo of that part and was therefore able to recreate the missing piece at home last week. So HERE WE GO! ❤️

So, I finally made it home after a long and exciting weekend at Feel Festival and managed to upload my set. I had the honour to open the Scheune floor with a three-hour sunset-set-set-set. It was beautiful to see how the floor filled up more and more with every track and the weekend slowly started to get crazy.

I played a few smaller gigs this year, here and there. Though I must say, nothing beats a proper festival performance. Saturday to Sunday night from 2.30 until 5.00 I had the honor of playing @ Wilde Möhre's Puppenräuber. What a beautiful experience this was all around!
An integral part of my life has been missing for the past months, almost a year even if you also count the winter months. It felt like this set released a lot of tension that accumulated during the quiter months before. 
The next months during this neverending pandemic will be tough, but I hope this set will shine a little light over them. 
Let's hope for the best for 2021!

‘Music is my anchor, my passion, my favorite form of expression’, Fabian says, adding: ‘I want to surprise’. It’s this belief in freedom that drives his work as an artist, unafraid to experiment and craft a profoundly personal sound in the process. A juxtaposition often sits at the heart of his tracks, as Fabian sprinkles lush or mischievous melodies over springy, sometimes elastic and other times static rhythms, nodding to organic and minimal house at once. It’s Fabian’s deep-rooted feeling for sound that fuse these disparate motifs into an irresistible whole as his productions unfold and flourish with intricate details and surprising touches, always united under a tight groove.

All of these addictive attributes are equally omnipresent when Fabian helms the booth – with a nonchalance rooted in pure joy that’s perceivable in an instant. Here, again, he intrinsically becomes the storyteller, weaving an authentic narrative while turning the room upside down. Whether that’s with a sunny selection at Sisyphos Strand, peak-time power at Bucht der Träumer, Wilde Möhre or Feel Festival or a dubbed-out affair for Afterhour Sounds. While by no means a recent presence in Berlin with past gigs at favourites like Kater Blau, Sisyphos, or Ritter Butzke, the last years took Fabian further afield to festivals like The Monastery, Feel, scene highlight ADE or shows around the world in Tulum, Zanzibar, New York, Istanbul, Amsterdam and many more. 

With itchy feet for the floor and a bright future ahead, Fabian’s firmly set sail to return to the booth – enabling big emotions and wide smiles in the meantime by way of his ever-evolving, always-sparkling music.
