LAYOS and Ian Ludvig are both DJ’s and producers from Spain who have worked together for some time now. LAYOS, who’s preference is for deep Afrohouse and melodic sounds, has had his productions released on numerous labels including Tomorrowlands , and for the last few years has played at Sankeys Ibiza ,Bahrein in Argentina and Family club Toledo. Ian Ludvig, likewise has become well known as an Afrohouse producer releasing on key imprints including Mo Black with Dennis Cruz and has had a multitude of other Beatport top ten Afrohouse releases to his name.  The pair have worked together constantly, and with this collaboration they reached out to Yolanda Fyrus after hearing Black Coffee playing one of her songs with which they were suitably impressed.
Yolanda was immediately inspired and the team for ‘Uncedo’ was complete. ‘Uncedo’ means Help and is a prayer song for deliverance and safety from hatred and ‘the evil things we deal with in life’. ‘Uncedo’ is also very much directed to the dancefloor and with the passion of the vocal, and the percussive beat and anthemic melodies making for something of a spiritual experience.

Three’s a charm, as they say. After „Waste The Time“ and „Socialo Blanco“ „Money“ completes Daniel Meuzard’s Feater triptych. Again joined by the likes of Eric Owusu and Sam Irl and their musical as well as technical skills, as well as by the lovely voice of Vilja Larjosto, the ageless beauty and intellectual brilliance of „Money“ is impossible to resist. It could have been imagined, written and recorded almost anytime in the last 50 years. Inspired or - better put - troubled by the rise and transformation of capitalist systems, fatalism, extravism, climate change and - surprise - the power, corruption and lies revolving around money, its topic is anything, but bubblegum. The music though, is ranging from powerful songs to clever synth experiments. Incredibly executed with a perfectly wonderful result. And even if Daniel writes that there is „no need to worry, I want you to panic“, we want you to listen to this album, while you do so! Hats off to Feater. „

This mini LP is an explicit message from Lustpoderosa's sonic continuum. These 7 tracks show the deep connection of Marlene Starks' work as a writer and an artist to her role as mother and DJ in times when there is an urgent need to dismantle the patriarchy in our society and rave culture.
Marlene Stark is telling us much more than a great musical story with the symbolic title “Hyäne”. Marlene wants to direct our attention to a reviled creature while she reflects on its literary and symbolic meanings. Although hyenas live in a matriarchal society, its transmutation can be perceived as the ongoing struggle of the non-male body in an androcentric world view.
Marlene Starks reinterprets the figure of the hyena in a very poetic, self-ironical and honest way, as shown in the tracks ‘Hungry As a Hunter’, 'Hyäne’ and ‘Language Of Old Woman’. It's a neo-ceremonial call to rethink established structures without missing out the turbulent landscape of today's politics.
From early trip-hop to post-rave elements, Stark combines her sonic adventures with an impressively nonchalant and colloquial vocabulary. Her voice, as well as the voice of guest singer Stefanie Mader, achieves a remarkable vocal structure that goes beyond the mainstream.
This is the contemporary body music for the next generation.

Marlene Stark is a DJ, producer, author, artist and mother. She is a regular at the @Sameheads Club Berlin where she hosts her party called 'Superposition'.
In 2019, Marlene published her debut novel "M" with co-author Anna Gien at Matthes and Seitz. The book talks about the systematic oppression of women in capitalism and in the art scene while talking about Berlin, its music scene, djing, drugs, sexuality and Male Gaze.
Marlene's debut album 'Hyäne' is a continuation of her work. It’s a thoughtfully influenced and neo-ceremonial music that aspires to evoke body trance and the awakening of hysteria. Marlene Stark floods the dancefloor with rhythmic body music that is dark, courageous and vocal in a political and in a poetic way. The tracks are influenced by early Breakbeat, Downtempo, Trance and Acid, with hints of Trip Hop, Tribal, Psychedelic and Krautrock.

"Upon a trip to Bali, LIIFE & Kem become acquainted and shared a common bond in Music. Although not really intentionally, NYEPI & SUKU are subtly influenced by the environment at that time. They sound emotional, slightly spiritual with an organic sound.
The first track Suku is called after the Day of Silence in Bali. On this day, for 24 hours, everything shuts down. No lights, no electricity, no TV or Internet. Everybody has to stay at home, in darkness to meditate and self-reflect..........an amazing experience. In the background of the track you can hear a field recording of the quietness during Nyepi. The day after, you feel rejuvenated, full of energy with a recalibrated life compass. You turn to things that actually matter. And music matters!
The second track is called after the demonic creatures that come after Nyepi - the Ogoh Ogoh. These monstrous demons, built by the locals and carried through the streets in the form of a loudly celebrated parade to fight off the bad spirits.........another amazing experience and a stark contrast to the introspective day of silence."
