The anniversary compilation is showcasting the unique experience which was collected through the 20 years long journey of Insomnia Records. DJs Becar & Sunshine tried to combine together the artits who have been with us for many years along the way with authentic russian darkpsy and forest tracks, supporting the local scene in Russia, which was a big point for the label since the first released compilation. 

Important to mention that the compilation is not about the oldschool sound, all of the tracks here are brand new cutting edge products for the night time dancefloor to fill it with a special psychedelic energy. 

We highly appreciate all the effort done by the artists, designers, mastering engineers and other participating persons and would like to say a big THANK YOU to all ever invloved. More 20 years in space to come!

A referência ao expressionismo destaca como emoções, ações e reações se convertem em arte, refletindo um processo contínuo de crescimento e contribuição para o mundo.

A proposta artística mencionada é a criação de um álbum focado na progressão, com músicas introspectivas e elementos sonoros que enfatizam tensão e organicidade. A intenção é que essa obra não apenas represente uma evolução pessoal, mas também ofereça algo significativo ao coletivo, seja por meio da música, das ações ou das palavras.

This EP addresses the idea of ​​cycles as essential elements of life that need an end to allow for new beginnings. It explores how we go through different phases, such as childhood and adolescence, emphasizing that each cycle must end for another to begin, bringing transformations and new perspectives. The reference to expressionism highlights how emotions, actions and reactions become art, reflecting a continuous process of growth and contribution to the world.

The background music of Lavender Town has garnered much interest due some listeners finding it unsettling. Listing it as the second-most scary video game track in 2012, Brittany Vincent of Bloody Disgusting stated that Lavender Town's "deceptively calm ... tune ranks highly on most gamers' lists of terrifying childhood memories." Lavender Town's music, composed by Junichi Masuda, combines sharp chiptune sounds with "a cavalcade of jarring chords" to create an eerie atmosphere.[2] Jay Hathaway of Gawker stated that leaving the music on loop may cause a "vague sense of dread".[3]

According to a creepypasta story that was uploaded anonymously on Pastebin in 2010, the music of Lavender Town compelled the suicide of over 100 Japanese children in the spring of 1996. Others allegedly suffered nosebleeds, headaches, or became irrationally angry. According to this urban legend, high pitch binaural beats harmed the brains of children in a way adults were immune to. This fabricated illness was dubbed "Lavender Town Syndrome" and the original story went viral after being spread on general interest websites such as 4chan. Various people have added details to make the story more convincing over time, such as Photoshopping images of ghosts into spectrogram outputs of the Lavender Town music.[3] Mark Hill of Kill Screen stated that the appeal of the Lavender Town Syndrome legend "comes from corrupting such an innocent symbol of childhood," and drew comparisons with "Dennō Senshi Porygon", an episode of the Pokémon anime series that gave hundreds of Japanese children seizures.
