DJ Hell and Radio Slave are Radio Hell for REKIDS200. Celebrating the label’s landmark release, the two legendary producers team up for a massive two-tracker with artwork from Alan Oldham, aka DJ T 1000.

From the electro-influenced intensity of ‘Radio Hell’ to the melody infused techno of ‘Lost Souls’, ‘This is Radio Hell’ is a release worthy of its creators' reputations as two of the most recognisable names in dance music over the past few decades and beyond. With both tracks clocking in at over 11 minutes, the release is epic in every sense of the word and is a fitting 200th release celebration for a label that has hosted some of the finest names in house and techno since its inception in 2006. 

DJ Hell, founder of International Deejay Gigolo, curator of the Museum of Modern Electronic Music, DJ since the late 1970s and acclaimed producer, is an icon of modern dance music and culture. Drawing lines between photography, art, design, fashion and music, Hell has worked with Sven Marquardt, Tom of Finland, Balenciaga, lectured at the Munich Chamber of Architects and created his own fragrance, all whilst holding down residencies at Tresor, E-Work and Watergate throughout his career. 

Radio Slave, aka Matt Edwards, is responsible for some of the most recognisable techno tracks in the genre, including ‘Grindhouse’, ‘Don’t Stop No Sleep’, ‘Another Club’, and many other timeless cuts. His collaboration work with Joel Martin as Quiet Village and solo work as Radio Slave has received critical acclaim, and he remains one of the most in-demand and consistent remixers around.

Rekids is one of electronic music’s most bankable imprints, having played host to the likes of Nina Kraviz, Robert Hood, Joe Claussell, Mr. G, DJ Deep, Theo Nasa and Alinka. Reaching its 200th release, Matt Edwards’ imprint shows no signs of slowing down, with forthcoming releases from Mark Broom, A Sagittariun, and Roman Flugel scheduled for 2022.

As the dust finally begins to settle after the release of Pan-Pot's massive album 'The Other', it's time to unleash a collection of heavy hitting reworks from the best and brightest stars of todays techno elite. Through careful consideration and an acute attention to detail, we couldn't be more elated to confirm ten artists we know and love to contribute their unique vision to Second State's first ever remix package.

Kicking things off with a heavily twisted alteration of 'Attention' is Nicole Moudaber and it's a tangled, dark trek through dense acoustic layers of audible madness. Next up is the Hamburg duo

Extrawelt with their twist on 'Optimistic Grey' and they deliver a beautiful blend of emotion and groove they are synonymous for.

Following suit is another passionately romantic number from man of the hour, Stephan Bodzin, and his take feels like floating through a sea of clouds, resulting in a timeless classic to be a focal point in any set for years to come.

Next in line is Ray Kajioka's take on '808 Nirvana' and it's a cosmic ride, ripe with swirling atmospherics laid over big churning drums and rolling cymbals.

Following up on the second 12“ of this LP is a man who needs no introduction: Carl Cox. And in true Coxy fashion he turns 'Riot' into just that: a big room, tension building monster!

Broken Engine' is the next track to get worked over and Wigbert delivers a stunning mix of shimmering tones and growling bass resulting in a lush venture through a cosmic backdrop of flickering stars in deep space.

Joseph Capriati ensues with his vision of 'Fugitives' and he brilliantly keeps the vibe of the original yet adds his trademark big room flair to take it to another level of driving euphoria.

Enlisting the talents of Alan Fitzpatrick to remix one of the slower listening tracks on the album turned out to be magic. With his signature percussion, Fitzpatrick takes the parts and creates a dive deep into sultry smooth waters of seduction.

The first of our last two remixes, which are digital exclusives, come from Paul Ritch and he delivers a grinding rendition of 'Riot', expertly crafted for the more euphoric peak time occasions.

Last and certainly not least is a man on the rise, Kevin Knapp with his twist on his own collaboration with Pan-Pot: 'Get In'. An expertly crafted tech house jam exploding with energy and attitude perfect for any moment, day or night, indoors or out.

No matter the time or place, there is something here for everyone and we are truly fulfilled and honored to present this package of cutting edge artists to celebrate this landmark moment. We know you will enjoy!

Two pioneering German techno duos come together in the latest release for Second State: Motion Unit’s “My Mind” from 1998, given the remix treatment by label bosses Pan-Pot and served three different ways. 

A big walloping kick, industrial crunch, guttural drones and an assortment of spacey synths over the top bring the “Radar Remix” slamming into the now. It’s densely layered, fast-moving, forever changing gears, and bound to blow the roof off virtual raves around the world this summer. The “Future Remix” is more pared back, percolating gently with breathy vocal effects, a slo-mo drone and squelchy acid lines creating a moody, after-hours vibe. Conjuring trippy scenes from outer space, the “Galactica Remix” closes the release out with an unpredictable patchwork of broken beats, snatches of robotic vocal samples and woozy pads, for less conventional dancefloor moments. 

The My Mind remix package offers three exceptional versions of a classic track that are respectful to the source material while refreshing it with the modern techniques and sounds that Pan-Pot are famous for.

Fabio Neural Biography:

Fabio Neural is an Italian DJ/producer that first met electronic music at the age of 13 and starts performing when he was 17 years old. 
In 2006 he decided to fully dedicate his life to music, so he attended Microfusa School in Barcelona and the year after, he won a DJ contest in Ibiza for upcoming talent. 
In 2010 Fabio channeled his passion into musical production, and his first track Guru debuted on Steve Lawler’s label - VIVA Music. The follow-up EP Porto Alegra made it into Pete Tong’s 500th Essential mix. 
During the years he collected more releases on top labels like Intec, where he became the most prolific artist of its history with 9 Eps, Hot Creations, Codex, Sola, Saved, Truesoul, Ovum, Sci+Tec, Relief, Stereo Productions, the official rmx for Martin Solveig on historical Positiva and  some tracks have been included in prestigious compilations like Carl Cox The Revolution and 25th years of Space. 
After being Resident of Tinì Soundgarden for seven years where he had the honor of sharing the stage with great international artists such as Richie Hawtin, Chris Liebing, Loco Dice, Adam Beyer and Dubfire just to name a few, he starts to travel the globe playing in big venues not only in Italy at Tenax, Afrobar or Cocorico’ where he had the honor to play b2b with Carl Cox, but also around the world: PURE Australia, Amnesia Ibiza, Egg London, Creamfields UK, El Row Tenerife, Ce La Vi Singapore, Origen Fest.
2016 is a year that he will remember forever: his mentor Carl Cox invited him to play in the main room of Space Ibiza for the last season of his Music Is Revolution party series
Last but not least, the best goal on his discography with the hit ‘Brr Baby Brr’ released on Jamie Jones’ Hot Creations and played by all artists around the world which reached #4 on Beatport Overall Charts and #3 on Tech-house Chart. 
His overall passion for music kept him open-minded and able to play in a wide variety of genres, ranging from techno to groovy and rhythmic housy sounds.
