On a high following their epic two-part Ibiza closing parties, Do Not Sleep waste no time in setting up for the winter with another standout release, this time from one of techno's most exciting names, Mark Reeve. 'La Playa' is a standalone track from Mark, joined by stellar remixes from OC & Verde and PaperMacheTiger to complete what is going to be one of the year's hottest winter-warmers.
Now based in Frankfurt, Reeve has harnessed a serious South American vibe for this one; La Playa is a gorgeous blend of rolling bass and delicate melodies, entwined with his trademark groove and a heavyweight punch that means this will deliver on the dance floor. Mature, layered effects and pads keep you guessing throughout, and the result is an intricate production that doesn't become a stereotypical DJ tool, more a secret weapon for the early nights and even earlier mornings.
On the remix front, OC & Verde take the track down a much heavier route and deliver a mix which has peak-time written all over it. If you like synth-led ravey goodness with a distinct warehouse vibe, then this mix is for you. On the flipside, PaperMacheTiger gives it a Balearic, daytime makeover which tones things down a notch but retains the melodic elements and turns it into an atmospheric masterpiece.

Main premises for the 3rd chapter of Whack imprint ‘chronicles’ is about the assumption that the technologies and cultures of many ancient and more advanced civilizations were given to us –B.C.- by former astronauts or intelligent beings who were welcomed as gods.

Durtysoxxx’s music on “Space Gods” swells with mysterious vocals coated in layers of rich aural stabs and powerful techno-kicks. American producer - Funk'n Deep label owner, who also released on Phobiq or Noir- perfectly controls the euphoria and darkness of his energetic sound, not at all timorous for the dance floor. An original track designed for the most demanding clubbers all over the universe.

The release is completed by an extra-terrestrial rework by Whack’s head-honcho Aitor Ronda which dives into heavier yet smoother territory. The sonic environment of the track embodies this well, teetering on the edge of the laser sword that separates 90’s trance-induced groove and immortal dub-techno stabs delays and crispy hi-hats.

Fabio Neural Biography:

Fabio Neural is an Italian DJ/producer that first met electronic music at the age of 13 and starts performing when he was 17 years old. 
In 2006 he decided to fully dedicate his life to music, so he attended Microfusa School in Barcelona and the year after, he won a DJ contest in Ibiza for upcoming talent. 
In 2010 Fabio channeled his passion into musical production, and his first track Guru debuted on Steve Lawler’s label - VIVA Music. The follow-up EP Porto Alegra made it into Pete Tong’s 500th Essential mix. 
During the years he collected more releases on top labels like Intec, where he became the most prolific artist of its history with 9 Eps, Hot Creations, Codex, Sola, Saved, Truesoul, Ovum, Sci+Tec, Relief, Stereo Productions, the official rmx for Martin Solveig on historical Positiva and  some tracks have been included in prestigious compilations like Carl Cox The Revolution and 25th years of Space. 
After being Resident of Tinì Soundgarden for seven years where he had the honor of sharing the stage with great international artists such as Richie Hawtin, Chris Liebing, Loco Dice, Adam Beyer and Dubfire just to name a few, he starts to travel the globe playing in big venues not only in Italy at Tenax, Afrobar or Cocorico’ where he had the honor to play b2b with Carl Cox, but also around the world: PURE Australia, Amnesia Ibiza, Egg London, Creamfields UK, El Row Tenerife, Ce La Vi Singapore, Origen Fest.
2016 is a year that he will remember forever: his mentor Carl Cox invited him to play in the main room of Space Ibiza for the last season of his Music Is Revolution party series
Last but not least, the best goal on his discography with the hit ‘Brr Baby Brr’ released on Jamie Jones’ Hot Creations and played by all artists around the world which reached #4 on Beatport Overall Charts and #3 on Tech-house Chart. 
His overall passion for music kept him open-minded and able to play in a wide variety of genres, ranging from techno to groovy and rhythmic housy sounds.
