Howdy! EK here finally with a remake of M87 because I wasn't satisfied with the last one (again XD). But hey! this was truly an awesome experience. Trying out new mixing techniques for the metal instruments was an interesting experience, along with other DWPs that I recently got!

First off Figmented Reality isn't dead, second;

FINALLLLY IT'S DONE. Hooo boy, this track took forever. It's been in my project files for at least like three months now? Something like that.

The Grand Finale alone has taken three revamps in total, two composition overhauls, three instrumentation overhauls, and a lot of mixing adjustment I hated doing. King in chinese didn't take nearly as much, but it still had adjustments as everything went on. Seriously, this track was somewhat of a nightmare to make.

...But it still turned out pretty cool. I gave up half-accuracy in the second take and then just went completely sort of retro styled mostly in the final take, which you hear today. This take took the longest because it's the only one that got past the Snow Halation parts.

I was seriously considering leaving it with the original description with very few changes but I couldn't bring myself to do it. This isn't celebrating any real occasion (I mean, 75 songs I suppose), I just made a harpsi lead for an Asriel megalo and it struck a chord with me (hah). It all devolved into this. Shreddage use is a little sloppy in some parts, I know, but I tried. I'd also like to say this really deters from the original One Shall Prevail, as opposed to being a shitty copy with Asriel motifs.

The idea behind the hypothetical battle that would take place here is as follows: Chara, being more intelligent than Papyrus, doesn't challenge you in the genocide run. Instead, they hide with Asriel. As much as Asriel wanted to stop you, Chara held him back, knowing it would be futile. Eventually, in a hallway nearby the castle, Chara decides it's time to strike. This would be a joint battle between the two of them.

Finally, a little announcement for those who cared to read on this far. Chances are I'll be making some original songs soon. I'm not stopping with Undertale content, but there will likely be a decrease. I want to practice with some original concepts is all.

I've wanted to make a remix of this song for awhile since I've been in a pretty emotional mood myself. It helps when creating or remixing songs like this since you have to be in the right mind space usually to let the feeling be conveyed in the song. (Well, at least for me anyway.) And being that Cross Sans isn't exactly in a good place to be in the Underverse/XTale series with all the stuff that has been done to him, it felt right to make this kind of remixed theme for him to be played if it were showing how he adapted to this new world he is being tossed into.
