While there’s no shortage of music in South Africa, women-owned labels remain few and far between. A Cape Town native, Rose Bonica, now helps fill this void with Roses Are Red! Launched in June, it seeks out likeminded individuals who bring casual vibes to the table. “The First Time” takes a small glimpse into her and Deep Aztec's "groovy romance.” As Ours, they debut a pair of somber original tracks.
