The Sunday afternoon event—first conceived of by Remi Landaz and Bruno Ciaramicoli in 2009—has become known for its unusual venues, quirky aesthetic concept and affinity for minimal (some of their recurring bookings include Raresh, Mathew Johnson, Margaret Dygas and more). 

In this interview with RA's Carlos Hawthorn, Ciaramicoli reflects on their humble origins and rapid ascent in popularity, attracting thousands of people to an illegal car park in Shoreditch within months of launching their first rave. They also lift the veil on the challenges that accompany grappling with inflation and rising artist fees, building a community and navigating the intricacies of nightlife in London.
