Sometimes referred to as the "Bukowski of Pop", the indie rock singer-songwriter FABRIC is making a name for himself that differentiates the artist from those typical of the genre. "Don't give a [blank]" seems a familiar phrase; though when listening to the dirty and dark, alternative pop music FABRIC creates, there seems to be quite a different story. Carefully crafted sonic moments seem to dance circles around any cliche that could have easily taken their place: supplanting the typical with the unusual in a way that is truly easy on the ears. Accepting the invitation into his world, you'll find an apparent artistry in the craft. As for the outlook-- a glimpse of the Everything Breaks EP and you’re reassured of a certain philosophy... the Arctic Monkeys had Scotland's NHS all over their ass about smoking on the album cover. Well now, what was that phrase...? Ah, yes; that's right. Guess the guy's gonna be himself: that unique and personal songwriter out of Portland, OR. The kind with the bemused narrative of an elusive heart, and the labored dreams of being desired and heard. Just like everyone else. 

In September of 2018, FABRIC released the five-song, Everything Breaks EP. Suffused with a collage of introspective lyrics and poignant melodies, the record confides the bleak torment surrounding a drug-addled depressive, and the troubling conflict of an artistic mind in an American landscape. In the end, Everything Breaks provides listeners with a grain of hope from the mind of an honest and genuine singer-songwriter.
