I have not yet mastered it and probably never will.

Maybe this song could be improved upon by adding more intricate drum variations - at times, i find the rythm section a bit too repetitive. Tell me what you think!

This song is made with 50% live (sic): i just loaded some of my favourite effects and software instruments, armed for record and then hit random black and white keys while mucking about with the knobs of my BCR. I think i made two overdub passes and then it was done. Add limiter and serve.

Originally was on "The Prodigal Sun" but that Album will never make it through so this song got a transfer.

Title: Phone Line Static

This track has a special story: i lost the original files and exports due to to harddisc failure and sloppy backup management. And the ONLY version i had left was this song on the track of an analogue answering machine, were it was used as "on hold"-music. That is actually where the current title comes from. I later managed to dig out this 192kbps-MP3-export though. Better than the answering machine, to boot!

FabzMK - Phone Line Static (Bonus Track from "The Prodigal Sun")

A very old track that i still like nonetheless. Technical quality leaves something to be desired - no question here. But not the ducking-like overcompression: that's intentional!
If i stumble upon the project files again, i'll polish it up - i really like the power it wields.

I tried to use as much material from the original as possible. If you compare the two songs, you'll understand why that proved to be a challenge.

another sketch. doesn't sound like i wanted it to. whatever.

I'm sometimes frustrated that i can't seem to create tracks akin to the songs my favourite artitst produce. However, i always end up creating something i want to listen to, but have not found yet. Even when i try to mimic a specific style for self-educational purposes. 
I have not really found my own style yet, though. Let's just see what lies ahead.

I would like to improve my skill systematically, but making music is only a hobby for me, i have other things to do in my life. So far i enjoy the status quo.
