Figure is excited to welcome IGLO to the roster, a promising new talent in techno. With a background in classical music, IGLO began his journey with the renowned Thomanerchor Leipzig before moving on to play guitar in bands. His diverse musical experience informs his unique approach to techno, merging classical influences with modern electronic production. On his debut EP for Figure, IGLO presents a collection of tracks that showcase his skill in blending solid rhythms, deep atmospheres, and rich textures. The opening track, Neverplace, introduces the EP with dubby chords and rave-inspired vocals, setting a late-night tone with emotional depth. Recovery follows, featuring a groovy bassline and a spoken word sample that enhances the track’s immersive feel. In Tell Me Everything, IGLO moves into snappier rhythms, with looping elements and a distant vocal that adds a mysterious edge. Introspection stands apart with IGLO’s own singing voice, paired with analogue rhythms that create a smooth, reflective flow while maintaining steady momentum. The two digital bonus tracks, Dispersity and Solitude, close the EP with steady, rumbling beats and tight rhythms, keeping the energy grounded and focused while engaging the dancefloor. Eclipse Lunar Records presents its fifth release: Blackout Protocol EP, the latest project from French DJ and producer Odium.

Originally from Dunkirk, Odium brings a bold and focused vision of techno: raw, percussive, and designed for intensity on the dancefloor.

The EP opens with “I’ve Already Seen The Future, It’s Not Good”, a deep tribal groove that moves forward with pressure. Textures and melodies shift and evolve, keeping the tension high from start to finish.

“Mission” follows with a more mental approach; minimal, groove-driven, and full of subtle detail for late hours and focused listeners.

With “Fractal”, Odium adds a harder energy. A galloping kick and dissonant melody create a track that feels unstable, urgent, and hypnotic.

The EP closes with “No Signal”, a deep, serious track that sums up the whole project: minimal influences, ethereal voices, tribal elements, and an unstoppable drive to move on the dancefloor.

Exclusively on Bandcamp, the release includes a bonus version: “No Signal (Floating Tool)”, made for DJs looking for intros, outros or more abstract transitions.

Blackout Protocol EP shows Odium’s ability to build tension through sound, and marks a new chapter in the evolving catalogue of Eclipse Lunar Records.

Born and raised in Athens, his earliest musical influences were shaped by the sounds of forest-psy and progressive before he delved deep into the world of Techno.

He finds solace and a sense of belonging on the dancefloor, where he feels at home, embracing the equality and unity it offers while living in the moment—almost like a form of meditation. Driven by a deep passion for self-expression, he transitioned to the other side through the art of DJing—and more than 15 years have passed since then.

During his studies, he was a resident artist for the “Cube” collective, where he organized limited-capacity events featuring artists such as Dax J, Keith Carnal, and Jewel Kid.

After this period, he returned to his hometown and found a new avenue for expression on Cannibalradio, hosting his own radio show, Absence of Light, before performing at major venues across the city.

His creative journey began years earlier and expanded into production, with original tracks released on labels like Diffuse Reality, PostDynamic, R[3]volution, and Muted, earning acclaim from artists including Ben Klock, Justine Perry, and Fabio Florido, to name a few.

Since moving to Berlin in 2022, he has continued to refine his craft, drawing inspiration from nature’s fluidity as well as the city’s vibrant pulse and the subtle energies that shape our reality. Most of his sets are carefully crafted on vinyl, adding an organic texture and allowing him to enter a zone of synchronicity, where everything falls into place flawlessly.

His DJ sets serve as immersive rituals—deep, hypnotic, and rich in storytelling, where music becomes a language of its own.
