"These debut compositions from Psee and SHR take the specific form of three variations upon an instrumental dub-techno track, "Helsinki." That metaphor of travel is then bolstered with an accompanying video, shot entirely between the endless green carriages of a Novosibirsk shunting-yard. Long-distance trains and the linear, mobile forms thereof dominate the film. Textually, sonically, and visually, the opening material from FACDUB is dedicated to an imagined passage - elsewhere and away from an empty status quo."
