Scannoir & Sneaker, aka “GOTT”, explore, transform and mutate. This unique collaboration embodies the perfect symbiosis of passion. “Die Deutsch-Schweizerische Freundschaft” is still profound and continues to have an effect. Now the two exceptional artists present their latest work: GOTT – MUTATIO on the Zurich based label Mattoni Pazzi.

“Alles wird gut” was the motto of the occupied Wohlgroth-Areal in Zurich in 1993, where Sonic Violence was invited to the concert of their “Transfixion” album tour. Industrial beats, dark samples, guitar riffs and moshing punks dominated the scene. At the ticket booth there were CDs to take away: “Sonic Violence – Transfixion”!

A template that now, 30 years later, adorns this memory with the selected track “Malice” in a new guise. GOTT mutates the original into a dark hell ride.

Enter the realm of the Fields of the Nephilim! The guardian waits, a lifetime. Profound and melancholic, he is transformed by GOTT. Dark souls remain dark souls. Siarem, this experienced artist is a sound artisan. The secret of the 
extraordinary quality of his spotless and calibrated sound could be 
his exclusive use of analogic gear.
He has released on HC Records and Sungate, and has been 
featured on label releases such as Bliq, Filature Records, Mona 
Records or Dial.
For this new release Siarem introduces five tracks where Techno
and Electro are mixed with EBM and Industrial. 50 per cent of 
strenght and 50 per cent of darkness. Mastered as always by Alden Tyrell and distributed by Bordello a Parigi. Expected release date in mid-September, this is a 300 copy  edition on black vinyl and also on digital through Bandcamp.

Having made appearances on imprints like Ombra Internatonal, Lumière Noire, Her Majesty’s Ship and her own newly minted Club Forever label, Justine Forever joins the Human Endeavour family for its sixth release.

This fresh body of work, ‘Out Of The Blue’, continues her pursuit to connect the dots between cold wave, punk and the uninhibited abandonment of dark, sweaty dance floors as she ushers us into the shadows with three propulsive, tripped-out cuts, each one more intoxicating than the last.

For the first time since the label’s inception last summer, Human Endeavour bring on board two remixers to round off the release, both of whom are fellow explorers of the dark, psychedelic realms of the electronic universe. 

Hand picked by Justine herself, French producer Cate Hortl and Mexican artist Undefined Pattern reinterpret ‘My Blood’ and ‘Out Of The Blue’ respectively. The former ups the tempo placing her signature cocktail of dark pop and coldwave-tinged synths centre-stage, while the latter subtly retouches the titular track, shaping it into a pounding techno stomper that’s primed for the dance.

Boris has been coming to our New York gigs for as long as I can remember and always brings a great energy. That energy flows over into his music. EBM has become a much abused term in recent times but here are some tracks exploring that EBM DNA where the creator 100% knows that history and what they are doing. Taking that knowledge and bringing that sound right up to date. We asked Boris for some notes on the tracks.

He said -

All three tracks spread across different genres I like and each has its own unique type of energy. 

“Noć,” which includes haunting Serbian vocals from Marija Kovacevic and lyrics by Jesus Martinez, has an arpeggiated sequence along with a new wave-esque bassline. 

“Breakable” is a driving synth track that used lots of modulation accompanied by a 12-bit drum machine. 

Finally, “Reveal Yourself” is an EBM track on which I incorporated my own vocals for the first time, as well as lyrics that came from a vivid dream I had.

Samo Records is a label exploring the darker, moodier side of electronic music.
