Nastaran is a newcomer DJ from Heidelberg in Germany. In a very short time she made a name for herself during the COVID pandemic and played several clubs in the southwest of Germany in the last months. She is not limited to a specific genre in the techno sphere, but covers different styles in her clubsets and podcasts. From groovy percussive-heavy sound, which she highlights in this podcast, to ruthless and raw techno, she keeps the tempo steadily high. Edge of Innocence

The EP kicks off with Thirty Against One, with a heart-wrenching bassline, distorted drums and a tense atmosphere. Nørbak pays tribute to the original, carefully using the stems and getting a powerful and direct remix.

Side A continues with Vertigo, a suffocating and anxious track, rising and becoming more and more tense as the track progresses.

On side B we find False Mirages, a hypnotic, distorted and direct track for the dancefloor. Positive Centre, with a sound design mastery, remodelled the track into heavy industrial vibes.

Finally, we also deliver a digital bonus track, Metamorphosis, ending the EP in a more atmospheric and hypnotic mood, providing a safe place for you to come down.

Küetzal is known as one of the founders of the London-based label Sticky Ground and resident DJ for one of Italy's most prominent techno events, Genau Turin.
Besides his own imprint releases, he published music on Gomboc Records, Taro Record, Askorn Records, and others while self-releasing two independently distributed EPs and singles that generated tens of thousands of streams while gaining the likes and support of institutions in the techno scene such as Perc and prominent artists like I Hate Models.
His production space is beyond unpredictable and features much of his past as a classical pianist and rock guitarist, as well as his studies as a sound designer and music tech developer.
All this is blended - with often different or opposite approaches - with groovy and powerful techno influences.
He hosts a monthly 2hrs radio show on Fnoob Radio where he regularly showcases his djing skills.
