Next up on our Callshop Residency is the Leipzig based, Bavarian raised, dj duo Denis & Optyi. These two guys present their strong vinyl affiliation and high grade digging skills in a two hour trip through proggy House & Techno, Breaks and Electro music.

We tried to combine keywords that came to our mind when thinking of a situation like that: happiness, nostalgia, gratefulness…
Then we attempted to transform this general idea of a feeling into a mix of our favorite records that make us feel like this way and hopefully help you to seek that beautiful place in your imagination.

As you can tell (see picture) we recorded this only vinyl mix on one of our most beloved mixers which is Freddy's newest achievement: the Rane MP2016." - Freddy & Tammo

For our next edition we got the cologne-based DJ Duo Freddy & Tammo. This mix is a perfect representation of theire sound, focusing on mainly playing house-infused
music, based on its origins in the late 80s and early 90s in New York and Chicago. 
Sometimes they also take you on trips to other spheres by exploring more electronic-based genres - such
as Italo, breaks, progressive house, trance & electro. 
With their events "Funky Bambi" and @morninggloryfm, which is also a radio show, the DJ duo entertains the party’s with fresh
and funky vibes! It never gets boring listening to their endless, ever-changing sets - where they mostly feel comfortable playing all-nighters showcasing their ability to smash genre
borders, whilst fusing styles together. But Freddy & Tammo can also get the dancefloor heated with shorter, well-selected sets, as the two spend mostly digging through every single crate in their hometown cologne.
You can never not smile and dance to the sound of those too.

„Facial Expressions“ is a project by Noah (@nougatnoah) and Tim (@critghetto).

A facial expression is often the very first piece of body language that we share willingly or not. Our faces show whether we approve or not approve something. Only the best poker players in the world might be able to hide their emotions behind a pokerface. 
We don’t play poker we only play records. And we want to be transparent with our emotions and feelings towards the music. So if you ever catch our physiognomy going crazy, it’s probably because of a super nasty bassline, a simple but effective groove or a fucked up transition.

What kind of facial expressions do you make while listening to music?
