Chez has a style that is hard to put your finger on, as Rio 017 well demonstrates. Recorded on the opening night of Bonanza, Chez kicked the terrace into action with a chuggy but cheerful selection of swampy groovers. 

Moving seamlessly from heads down tech house to breaks and EBM-ish numbers, Rio 017 is peppered with flecks of acid, swaying basslines and plenty of character.

For our next session, we welcome the duo @jive.talk into the booth, residents at @gottwood and founders of @notforyourecords - for a journey through grooves, some lovely baselines, and pure dance-floor energy - recorded live at BAKED HQ.

We’ve had our eye on these two for a while, ever since catching one of their sets @number90london that had the boat rocking from start to finish. Their ability to read the room and ride the vibe is second to none, and it was only a matter of time before we got them in for a session.

They also gave rare interviews, reflecting on a deep musical connection that began in 2007, the legacy of minimal and lessons from a life spent in DJ booths the world over.
