Thank you for sharing this! The conversation of intersection between the LGBTQ community and other margenalized communities is something that we continue to discuss, within our local LGBTQ community group, Norman United. As mostly white folks, we are distressed at how difficult it is to strengthen those intersectional points of connection. The suggestion that we need to embrace, within the church, LGBTQ folks, because that how God wants it- fantastic. I have in past sermons, expressed a message of living authentically as a way to grow closer to the divine.
