If you ever get talking to the local crowd at Robert Johnson, one of the first parties you’ll hear about is Traffic. Founded and centred in the undercurrent of Frankfurt’s bubbling techno scene, Traffic started out as a label back in 2013, leading the city’s individualist flair first started by minimal labels like Perlon in the late 90s.

Martin Müller, the artist known as Martyné, is one of the collective’s core members. He’s released 5 EPs on Traffic, each one stylistically different but all borrowing from the same pool of sounds. Crossing twisted minimal techno and electro via crisp broken beats and rolling tech house, you’d be forgiven for mistaking one of his records for a forgotten weapon from the 90s.

This inclusive approach to making music translates in Müller’s DJ sets. Like many of his Frankfurt peers, deep digging forms the basis of his musical ethos. Before he joins Frankfurt powerhouse Cocoon’s takeover on 4th May, he sent us a mix that shows off his label’s quirky flair.

We welcome Alex Kennon to our Source to Cycle podcast series. With such a rich musical background Alex was destined for a career in music. Alex also takes his blend of inimitable rhythmic house and techno to the white isles of Ibiza where he also resides over the summer season too.

His character runs parallel with his productions, one that stands out whether behind the decks or not, be prepared for an energetic and charismatic Italian, whose passions dance between MotoGP, animals and food away from the music.

Having polished his sound in the studio, he returns to Fanciulli’s Saved Records in May, plus releases on Moan Recordings, Oblack Records and also fellow Italian Pirupa’s NONSTOP imprint, giving the classic Party Non Stop a new lick of paint for the 2018 remix pack alongside wAFF, Max Chapman, LEON and Shaf Huse.

Capo is a DJ,  promoter,  member  of  Mødule  collective.  Couple  years  of  playing  and  collecting  vinyl  records  has  had  a  great  impact  on  his  mixing  skills  and  his  remarkable  selection.  He  played  at  the  legendary  Tresor  in  Berlin,  Audioriver  festival and  also  in  best  clubs  in  Poland.  Within  the  Mødule  event  series,  he  hosted  parties  with  artist  such  as:  Zadig,  UVB,  Henning Baer,  Pearl  or  Setaoc  Mass.  Club  savage  with  no  fear  of  any  dancefloor.
