Spirits of Traeyana


The scene I envisioned was:
"Survivors" camp in Mountains, mist, rain and small camp fires.
Mother picks up child and walks to the edge of a huge cliff.
Camera slowly breaks the horizion of the cliff and a recently nuked city unfolds
Fire, electrical sparks and explosions can be heard coming from the city
Just tried to convey the sound. For this piece I used Logic Pro, some samples, a Korg R3, and Kaossilator Pro
My brother and I used to play music together when we were younger. He had a sweet pot and pan drum set and I would play guitar. It was awesome and definitely bonded us together, as playing music with people can do. I had very little, read none, technical skill at the time but enjoyed every minute of it. Later in life I moved to Clarksdale Mississippi in the Mississippi Delta and fell in LOVE with the old blues of the region. I realized what passion could be coaxed out of a simple instrument like a guitar and how intense grief and/or joy could really be shared with music. I now enjoy playing several instruments with "some " technical prowess. 

I have and still love cooking but sound design is where my heart is. I will not wax poetic on the subject but suffice to say cooking is what I do and sounds are what gets me out of bed and what keeps me up till 4 a.m. to the detriment of of all other things.

One of my favs reinterpreted a little. One pass on each track so there are some flubs but..... I used a Korg R3 vocoder for a lot of the vocal ambience and a Jaguar for the guitar stuff. All sounds except vocal reverb are analog or hardware sounds. Take the trip

Blues and psychedelic future ass funkin bass boogie gangsta instrumental music. Interested in collabs and new music styles. 
Music is freely created, channeled or caught floating in the plasma field of life. I love jamming, recording and playing improvised music. I love the freedom it offers and the mind-meld soul junction that can occur. I also love composing music. I use hardware for the electronic stuff almost exclusively and I do not "play" the computer. (Lately that is not true, I've been "playing" the hell out of it.) I use a 66RI Fender Jag and Strat for the gee-tar stuff. Whatever trip you are on enjoy it and enjoy other peoples trips as well. Hit me up if you wanna jam.
