Cadee makes his Factor City debut with three great original tracks driven with leftfield electronics and  followed by healthy remixes by Jackwasfaster and label honcho Undo.
Cadee is the project through which Diego Cadierno releases his more dancefloor oriented works. 
After more than five years exploring more “brain” fields (idm, breaks, electro...) with his alias Promising/Youngster, which allowed him to release in labels like Sin Hilo, Nebulae or Several Roots and play live all around Spain, Diego feels the need to go back to his more hedonist roots. This “Happiness” EP is the first released under this moniker. 
Opening the record we find “Besta”.  A very personal song with sinuous synth lines and filters. The percussions and vocals, along with the bass line drives a hypnotic and deep track. JackWasFaster remix is more raw, edgy and straight to the dance-floor, playing with the orginal synths and vocals, and adding what sounds like a distorted synthetic mouth harp.
The second track “Moving Circles” it's a playful and melodic song that captures the essence of Cadee’s approach, teasing the release with its floor-focussed sharp beats and synth stabs. 
Closing the Ep the tittle track “Happiness” it is a reflection on the happiness and responsibility of bringing a child into the world. A deep and wide tune with arpeggiated bass riffs, haunting vocals and vaporous guitars.
Undo strips down the original of its more Pop elements, vocals and guitars, and pays homage to the bass in his remix adding an hypnotic groove and mental synth lines.

We’re always happy to welcome a new artist on board. Uranio Empobrecido is the alias of Jorge Gutierrez, the founder and head engineer of the NANO Modules synthesizers brand based and born in Valencia.

He creates his music using his own modular creations together with drum machines. Influenced by electro & breakbeat his music is mechanical, dark and cold as ice. But full of analog warmth at the same time. Here we have three new examples of his raw, energetic and very personal take on electronic music. Moving electrons back and forth!

We instantly thought in Ratlife’s honcho and electro wizard Credit 00 to remix one of the tracks on the ep. He choosed “Bandpass Activated” and delivered a monster of a remix with his very own sound signature.

For the second remix we asked Facets head of Samo records. He delivered a 4x4 dope rework paying tribute to Valencia’s “ruta del bakalao” sound and energy. Perfect way to complete the ep.

The beautiful EP "Moist" from Offset, including a Morgan Hammer remix is the first release of 2016 for Undo’s Factor City label. 
Offset (a.k.a. Philippe Juven), with previous releases for Correspondant and Days Of Being Wild, debuts on Factor City with two original tracks where he shows again his ability for composing catchy melodies as well as playing and producing with synths and drum machines. 
His music is hypnotic, elegant, full of details and has influences from Detroit pioneers Carl Craig and Drexciya/Dopplereffekt to Synth and Cold Wave, Italo, Industrial and Post-Punk. Morgan Hammer, who has similar influences, is a rising French star with hot releases on Optimo and Astrolab. She delivers an epic remix of the title track.
We like it when it’s dark but we also like to see the light and Offset’s music brings a lot of light.

In November last year, Undo released “Disconnect”, his third album. A charming long-player that has won very good feedbacks and reviews. Now it’s time to unveil the first Ep with remixes from the album. A great and variate package including reworks from friends and artists he admires as mexican Iñigo Vontier, russian Dimitri Veimar and belgium Cabaret Nocturne. There’s also a new mix by Undo himself.
Opening the 12” we find Iñigo Vontier’s version of “Autómatas”. The rising mexican producer delivers an exciting remix with his own latin trademark. A steady bassline, lush percussions, effective synth action and the original Undo vocal chop all very well combined to create a perfect dance-floor weapon. The sexy incantation of “Computer Friends” is revisited by Dimitri Veimar, Cabaret Nocturne and Undo himself. Veimar’s take is very special. He stripped down the original processing the vocals and using only a few machinedrum stems from the original and the minilogue pad. The result is a dub journey full of synth tension and hidden beats. Cabaret Nocturne’s remix respects a lot the original but takes it to another level adding a brand new bassline, speeding up things a bit and showing up his top production skills. Undo’s new version has almost nothing to do with the original but the vocals. He’s converted the funny and sexy original into a dark acid number. But the message remain the same.

Undo’s Factor City imprint celebrates 15 years on the dance floor with a compilation featuring new music from a mix of Factor City affiliates and friends. 10 new secret weapons from one of Spain’s most-loved labels.
The record includes late night jams from long-term friends as Fairmont, Lontano, Nhar, Sigward & Oliver Sudden, Dawad and label boss Undo, and new friends and recent additions to the rooster like Offset, Cabaret Nocturne, Dimitri Veimar and Damon Jee that makes his label debut. All of them has played at the infamous label parties in Barcelona, Marseille, Madrid and beyond.
The music as always is hard to define or label. From beautiful modular synth soundscapes, to sharp driven-synth melodies. From delicate and vaporouse electro to euphoric electronic rides. From darkness to sonic bliss. From techno to krautrock and back. 81 to 128 bpm. Nostalgic and futuristic. Emotive and leftfield. Music that won't leave your head anytime soon. And despite the 'various artists'-format, the here gathered stylistic approaches and track-turned mindsets make a strikingly coherent body of work.

First Factor City release in 2019 comes from the hands of Mexican producer Cabizbajo. Three strong originals followed by an excellent Naduve remix.  Roberto Escobosa aka Cabizbajo is part of a burgeoning and exciting generation of Mexican producers who are carving their own path with their exciting music. With releases & remixes for Nein and Turbo, it was a meeting with label boss Undo, whilst playing at Topaz de Lux in Monterrey, that has lead him to the Factor City family.   When he sent these new tracks it was love at first listen for us. The title track “New Me” showcases Cabizbajo singing talent and his vocals drive an original and powerful tune with a martial rhythmic propulsion and bright synths. All a declaration of intentions. “Triggered” and “Lange” are perfectly crafted synth driven weapons for the dancefloor.  On Remix duty we chose one of our favourite producers from Tel Aviv. Naduve’s take on New Me is a deep and spooky heater. A stripped down version with detuned synth arpeggios, reversed vocals and subtle percussions that create an hypnotic atmosphere thats perfect for the club or early morning after parties.  Cover illustration by David Imbernon. JackWasFaster makes his debut for Factor City with four excellent dancefloor cuts that bridge the currents of slow-mo techno and cosmic disco, a perfect blend of darkness and light. The EP is completed with a dope remix by Younger Than Me.

Manu Cachero, a.k.a. JackWasFaster, is one of Madrid’s brighest talents. With previous releases in Rotten City, Nein or Esthetique, it was a matter of time before we saw his music landing in Factor City. JackWasFaster’s work has earned him a wealth of support from some of the scene names such as Andrew Weatherall, Sean Johnston, Massimiliano Pagliara, or Curses, to name a few.  

Opening the EP, we find “Busybody killer” a slow heater where we can hear his EBM and post-punk influences creating a dark futuristic landscape. Tomorrow’s harvest. 
Or not, because there’s a lot of light on the EP as well. “Luddites Fan Page” is a disco-infected tune full of bright synths and instant melodies. Manu’s voice on the background gives the track a Balearic touch. We find the same sound coordinates, feel-good vibes and sense of humor on “They don’t make commercials as they used to.” Here arpeggiated synths lead this playful song, perfect for summer dancefloors as things are winding down or up.
The last original track is “Perro viejo”. And darkness is back again. There’s something to fear in this 12’ apocalyptic jam built around pulsating beats, an industrial atmosphere, and acid synths.  
We asked rising Italian duo Younger Than Me to remix one of the tracks from the EP and they chose “Perro viejo”. They’ve condensed and tensed the original by adding synth stabs and vocal chops. Rave on!

We are happy to present the second and last ep with remixes from the great sophomore Undo album "Motas de Polvo". This time remixed by the likes of Fairmont, We Are Happy Here and Maurice Aymard.

Fairmont's remix of "Motas de Polvo"is a clear prove of his class at the controls. He delivers an epic remix giving more energy, new beats and melodies but respecting a lot the original.

We Are Happy Here are Nhar and Jennifer Cardini. His remix of “Whispers” is deep, warm and sexy. Including Jennifer's vocals, dark beats and subtle percussions.

Maurice Aymard is the man behing Galaktika and Apersonal labels. His remix of “El Crit” gives a house feel that fits really well to the original.

Factor City is proud to introduce their new signing, Córdoba (Spain) based Durand, and present his new EP, “Exuvia”. Three original tracks followed by a Cabizbajo remix.

Durand has been connected to electronic music from a very young age,  developing an extensive career as a dj and club promoter and owner before starting to produce his own music only a couple of years ago. In this time he has already released two excellent eps on Nein records and one on Esthetique, played by the likes of The Hacker, Ivan Smagghe or Curses.

For his debut on Factor City he delivers three slices of cosmic dark disco, with powerful modulating basslines, sleazy synth lines and infectious rythms and percussion. Timeless club music with different influences fused to dance and feel the trip at the same time. 
On remix duties we find Cabizbajo. The mexican producer is in full shape as he shows in his fiery take on “Crisálida”. An stripped down, hypnotic and percutive “PseudoDub” version ready to kill any virus.
