Omni welcomes yet another newcomer, this time the atmospheric breakbeat sounds of Moakz. 
Moakz has been on the fringes of the DnB / Jungle scene since the early 90's, where he DJ'd on the south coast and ran events during the 90's and early 00's before producing and releasing a number of Breaks tracks under the name Mobius around 2008-2011. He now turns his attention back to Jungle/Drum and Bass with a 4 track EP of immense rhythms that sound eternally fresh. With a clear influence from the mid to late 90's, his intricate compositions sound like the timeless wonders from Lucky Spin Recordings with their mesmerizing  breakbeats and serene melodies. Moakz is a new talent to watch closely.

The Drumfunk maestro Fada returns to Omni Music with 5 tracks of funk-fueled drum journeys. Autumn Dusk starts the EP with deep jazz influences as supersonic sax and chopped rhythms elegant march along. Sometimes Visions takes the listener into a world of rolling breaks and floating keys before 'Let's Listen To It' changes the vibe with energetic drum-work, discordant pads and infectious double bass. Filter This is classic Drumfunk vibes with chopped vocals, spirited drum hooks and speaker moving bass stabs. The EP ends with the equally epic 'Linoleum' with more precision chopped breaks, ethereal atmospheres with brisk funk elements.
