old trick of mine, bosses put a very strict speedcap to your movement, if you spindash, let go and shorthop (aka touch the jump button), you'll outrun the speedcap for as long as you keep going. you can use this speed to get up close to the Egg King's windshield

Dimps really wanted to make the worst boss in the series. They failed, but they came worryingly close
