TERROR BASS x HARD TRAP Guest Mix

Scott Jenkins had an early start to his music career: while his school mates were out playing football after school, he was already deep into producing music under the name Skepsis. For the last few years he’s been putting out a string of well-received productions and remixes, most of which are tied together by a distinct bass-led sound. 

Jenkins is still only 21, but with peer support and appearances on stations like Rinse FM he’s become one of the bassline’s most recognisable artists. As he lands at FABRICLIVE just one week from now, he sent us over a mix in anticipation of his appearance. Spanning the best in unreleased bassline and grime from Jenkins and his contemporaries, it shows exactly why he’s made such a storm recently, and why so many today are locking in to the UK’s thriving bassline sound.

It's with great pleasure that we present to you our 100th exclusive mix and what better way to mark this momentous occasion than with an explosive mix crammed full of dubs, VIP's and exclusives from none other than the mighty Shapes.

Over the last year, the duo from down South have been making more waves than the choppy English channel. Shapes have been going from strength to strength, showcasing not only serious song selections but outrageous tekkers on the decks. 
Their 'Shapes Gas MiniMix' had them chopping, looping and switching up all styles of music and helped their talents go viral. Since then, Shapes have proved their worth in production too. Remixes and originals supported by MistaJam, My Nu Leng and Holy Goof to name a very small handful. Our favourite, the Batman bootleg of Giggs’ hit track has amassed over 100,000 plays on Soundcloud. 
With Radio 1 mixes under their belt and god knows how many other accolades, we are more than gassed to welcome Shapes to the 3000 Bass exclusive mix series.
From the start, their mix has Serious impact with an even more Serious introduction. Most of the tunes in the mix probably won’t even see a release till late this year which gives it a real collectors item feel. Shapes really captured everything right about the UK bass scene in their 40 minute snapshot and it’s definitely going to be turning heads.
