At 15 years old, he has already mastered the art of bridging the gap between soulful and minimal, and we are pleased to welcome him to his very own slumber session slot.

"I've been in Ukraine for the last two months, and what really inspired this mix was what I'd listen to while I was drinking coffee downtown.  I'd just gaze out the window sipping on a latte, and damn it tasted good. So that's how I want this mix to sound... an assortment of tasty, chilled tunes for your down time."

El productor londinense Horizons continúa expandiendo su universo sonoro con Come Find Me, una obra que transita entre lo íntimo y lo expansivo. Dentro del paquete de remezclas, el AALEX Remix se erige como una de las interpretaciones más sutiles y refinadas, llevando la propuesta hacia un terreno de progressive house que conserva la organicidad del original, pero con un pulso aún más hipnótico y club-oriented.

La visión de AALEX despliega capas de pads cálidos, un bajo envolvente y una rítmica progresiva que avanza con fluidez hipnótica. La voz etérea permanece como hilo conductor, pero aquí adquiere un carácter casi espectral, flotando sobre un tejido armónico diseñado para las transiciones largas y narrativas que caracterizan las sesiones más profundas. Solid Steel (5th August) This week it's Rival Consoles and Ben Lukas Boysen for an Erased Tapes takeover, the London based label set up by Robert Raths in 2007 that also includes Nils Frahm, Kiasmos, Peter Broderick and Dawn of Midi in their roster. First up in Hour 1, it's London-based electronic songwriter Ryan Lee West aka Rival Consoles celebrating the release his most personal work to date in the form of a mini-album titled ‘Night Melody’ which is out on 5th August. He told us;
"The mix is a collection of sonic palettes which inspire me to make music. From Todd Terje's playful, colourful remix, to The Cyclist's Lodi distorted broken synth grooves, Cortinis epic moving ambient masterpiece 'scapula', Gold Panda's childlike beauty: all of these tracks contain things that excite me. So rather than this being a very consistent strict tempo mix it is a collection of varying ideas and approaches to electronics."
