Girl With The Face of a Revolution

Fader Vega is a musical project featuring the songs of singer songwriter and guitarist, Nick Bowring.
 
The songs were written in moments of blissful solitude, in a darkened kitchen, while other inhabitants of the house, watched Saturday night TV in the living room.
 
The music is a guitary-rocky-poppy-punky type of thing, and has been described as ‘Bob Dylan meets the Buzzcocks’. Tracks from the album have already been played several times by BBC Introducing.
 
The independently released album features performances from some talented and accomplished musicians:
 
Alex Meadows (Tom Jones, Jamiroquai, Don Airey, Electrasy), Scott McKeown (Tom Jones, Lana Del Ray, Bootsy Collins, Van Morrison) and Abbie Lathe (Abbie Lathe, Maddie Prior).
 
The album was recorded by Alex Meadows at Meadowbank Studios in London.
 
There is also a live version of the band about to start gigging.
