los sellos valencianos Fill-Lex Records e Industrial
Complexx unen fuerzas para lanzar Transitions, una edición limitada
a solo 200 copias que reúne una selecta compilación de
pistas de Lassigue Bendthaus en la cara A, y el EP The Overcom
de Atom™.
La cara A abre con Transitory (Anti-Matter Edit), una versión alternativa
que se publicó únicamente en el CD maxi Automotif
en 1991, en el que el productor alemán muestra una habilidad
prematura para generar patrones rítmicos complejos y texturas
electrónicas futuristas. Information, segundo corte de esta cara
A, fue publicado originalmente en Biohazard en 1992 y su sonido
mezcla influencias de estilos como EBM y electro. Render
aparece en el álbum homónimo, publicado en 1994 y solo en CD,
y aquí podemos observar la evolución sonora de Lassigue Bendthaus
en la que integra un ritmo más pesado.
La cara B de Transitions aloja los dos cortes del EP The Overcom,
publicado por Atom™ en formato digital en mayo de 2022. Kurosawa
suena a industrial transgresor de cadencia rauda. En The
Overcom, corte que cierra el EP, la intensidad rítmica prosigue,
e incluso se intensifica hasta centrar gran parte del tema en los
patrones percusivos.

On the occasion of the release of the book “Atom™, the nonconformist
virtuoso”, the Valencian labels Fill-Lex Records and Industrial
Complexx join forces to release “Transitions”, a limited
edition of only 200 copies that brings together a select compilation
of tracks by Lassigue Bendthaus on side A, and the EP The
Overcom by Atom™.
Side A opens with Transitory (Anti-Matter Edit), an alternative
version released only on the 1991 CD maxi Automotif, in which
the German producer shows a premature ability to generate complex
rhythmic patterns and futuristic electronic textures. Information,
the second cut on this A-side, was originally released on
Biohazard in 1992 and its sound mixes influences from styles
such as EBM and electro. Render appears on the album of the
same name, released in 1994 and only on CD, and here we can
observe the sonic evolution of Lassigue Bendthaus in which he
integrates a heavier rhythm.
The B-side of Transitions hosts the two tracks from The Overcom
EP, released by Atom™ in digital format in May 2022. Kurosawa
sounds like a transgressive industrial with a fast cadence.
On The Overcom, the EP’s closing track, the rhythmic intensity
continues, and even intensifies to the point of focusing much of
the track on percussive patterns.
