Frite Nite officially welcomes Charlotte-based DJ/production duo Clicks & Whistles into the fold, releasing an explosive 2-track single for the label’s 19th release.

Like many of their contemporaries, Clicks & Whistles (aka Jorge Hernandez and Petey Evans) take inspiration from a wide array of styles to create their own blend of sound system music -- but unlike most, they’re able cross between big room party aesthetics and musically interesting ideas seamlessly, incorporating intelligent soundscapes into street-friendly rhythms.  C&W’s newest set of tracks “Fumando” b/w “Southern Slaw” is the perfect example, crafted for the discerning dancefloor selecter and the prime-time party DJ alike.

Both the smoked-out “Fumando” and trippy southern anthem “Southern Slaw” fit in the Amercian blitz of half-time Rap instrumentals gone rave, these will fit perfectly into any 70/140 BPM blend of high-energy pop rap hits, underground Grime or dirty east coast club tracks.  But keeping consistent with the Frite Nite sound, both of these tunes are a just a touch more intelligent than your average club banger, weird enough to keep the elitists engaged and still destroy on a big sound system.   Receiving play from jockeys all across the board, these tracks are certified heavy and we know they’ll make it directly into your DJ crate. They’ve received spins from top DJ’s such as Machinedrum, Diplo, 12th Planet, Baauer, Salva, UZ and more.   The two will be touring the US on serval runs throughout the duration of 2012 -- catch up with them when they come to your city.

Runners listen to this guide with headphones, running in a pack or individually. Originally commissioned for a marketing event by a Corporate Design Brand to remain unnamed. Marketing Team and Event Participants were told previous to listening that this audio experience was personalized for each listener, while in reality participants listened to the same recording. Script draws from actual language used by Marketing Team in their “creative” concept. Preparation for a long run.
