We have been a fan of Mike Sharon since his classic 2012 "I Feel You" EP on Local Talk and could not be more excited about him joining the Yuzu family for our third release. Expect true, loopy deep house with whiplash-inducing syncopation between chunky chords, stomping beats and hammering basslines. Label boss Coral O’Connor treats us to a deep and driving remix colored with lush synths to round out this tasty EP.

Malps looks to build on an impressive year just gone which saw releases for the labels Colour Codes and Aromatik Music.

Recordings 07 - Benny S

After a successful label release on Lacuna’s 024 edition, we’re glad to welcome Benny back for a fresh guest mix.

Born and raised on the edge of London, Benny’s passion for house music started at a young age with his parents influence through the likes of David Moralez and Masters at Work.

The early 2000’s saw him develop a passion for graffiti culture which ultimately led to a brief spell of incarceration. On his release he discovered London’s Pacha; a club which opened his eyes to the house scene in the capital and beyond: religiously attending parties ever since.

2013 saw a serious shift in Benny’s musical ideology when he was gifted opportunities to play at clubs such as Egg, Pacha and Lightbox. His production skills have flourished since 2015 and a year later his first release came through Music Related Records. Numerous tracks later, Benny continues to make his mark on London and beyond with a garage influenced smooth take on deep house.
