THE SKY CRIES WITH ME is an original song I wrote in 2016 when I was going through some tough times. I went through depression for a few years and sometimes I felt like I really hit rock bottom. 
Mental illness is no joke and you aren’t weak for admitting you are going through something you feel like you’re losing to. I feel comfortable enough now to talk about it and hopefully help someone out there through my music. 
There were days I couldn’t bring myself to get out of bed because I felt numb, and it’s something I wouldn’t wish upon my worst enemies. I am thankful to my family and friends who saw the signs and helped me even when I didn’t want it. I wrote this song (and a few others) at the hight of my depression and singing these songs now when I’ve healed myself reminds me of how I was feeling and how far I’ve come since. To anyone reading this that is going through what I have, please don’t be afraid to reach out to your loved ones. You are deserving, you are loved and you will get through this even if you think it’s impossible, try and be patient with yourself.
