5 stages of grief/

i. Denial
lying on the bed with just you in my head
i try to shake, hit, zap, even smother the idea of you not being in my life anymore but it’s so hard to gulp it down my throat & chew & process.

ii. Anger
why did you fucking abandon me?

every next rumination

iii. Bargaining

in all but flesh, nonetheless i beg and cry, please come back for it feels empty, there’s a void in me so ancient, every cell of my being yearns for you,

iv. Depression
730 Days, 17520 hours without hearing your voice, what have i become i smoke my sadness away & roam aimlessly around cities i wanted to travel with you searching for one whiff of joy i find it and slip right back into my mansion of misery,
it’s awfully comfortable you see.

v. Acceptance
you were still with me, so close to me,
it felt like you never left because i knew the moment you would be out of my mind, you’d be out of my heart as well. so i let you linger, just enough, for me to walk straight again & remember you in all your glory.
