Biography:

Faia (Romklang Records / Small Records / Femmes Fatales. NO)

Oslo-based DJ, producer and club promoter Faia has played at most of the clubs, venues and raves in Norway, as well as Oslo’s biggest open air electronic music festival Sommerøya and other wonderful festivals in Norway. Faia is also regularly booked to techno and house clubs all around Europe.

In Oslo she's in charge of the successful Femmes Fatales' events. They had a 5 year residency at The Villa, and monthly events at Elefant and have guested various clubs.


In 2018 Faia got into production, and started a collaboration with Duppeditt. They own the label Romklang Records together and are now releasing their music. They recently released the track 'I'm Lost' on Pointzer0 Rec's V.A 'The Explorer I'.
Faia has been a label DJ for Small Records for a decade, and she's in charge of their mix series SmallCast.


Faia has been booked to events or shared decks with many well-known DJs and producers such as; Oxia, Pig&Dan, Ida Engberg, Djuma Soundsystem, Phaxe, Nastia, BeSvendsen, Guy J, Kruse and Nuernberg, DJ Hell, Turmspringer, Miss Sunshine/Insolate, Beddermann & Dahlmann, Ben Klock, Recondite, Gabriel Ananda, Thomas Schumacher and Moog Conspiracy.


Faia loves being behind the decks, and that also reflects the drive, energy and playfulness in her choice of music which is mostly deep, dark, groovy, techy and hard Minimal, Techno and House.

We are very proud to get our tenth podcast from a very special guest from Norway. Faia is an Oslo-based DJ, producer and club promoter who has played in all major parties in Norway and is also regularly booked to techno and house clubs all around Europe. 

In 2018 Faia got into production, and started a collaboration with Duppeditt. They own the label Romklang Records together and are now releasing their music, as well as being signed with Pointzer0 Rec and Music4Aliens. She’s a label DJ for Small Records and in charge of their mix series SmallCast.

Bio:
Oslo-based DJ and producer Faia has performed at numerous clubs and festivals in Norway since 2009. She's booked female DJ's to her Femmes Fatales events on various venues for over a decade, and played at several clubs around Europe.
In 2018 Faia got into producing, and started a collaboration with Duppeditt. They run Romklang Records together, releasing their music. Between 2021-2023 they have released music on labels: PointZer0 Rec, Music4Aliens and Amw Black Label.

Ever since she started spinning records in 2009, she's been a sought-after DJ and club promoter. Faia has played at most of the venues in Oslo, and she plays regularly at festivals and house & techno-clubs around Norway and Europe. Last year she played at the Jai Thep Festival in Thailand, in Copenhagen at Culture Box (Distortion Festival) and Ved Siden Af, Bohnengold Berlin, and Sandsteinhöhlen in Halberstadt Germany.
Faia is the founder and resident DJ at the Femmes Fatales nights who’ve had residencies at Sikamikanico, The Villa, Elefant and Caña.
She’s been co-producing tracks with Duppeditt these two last years, and have released music on their label Romklang Records.
She's shared decks with artists like Nastia, Oxia, Thomas Schumacher, Pig & Dan, Guy J, BeSvendsen, Turmspringer, Bedderman & Dahlmann, Moog Conspiracy, Gabriel Ananda, Dense & Pika, and many more.

Faia is a well-established figure in the Norwegian electronic music scene, having worked in the industry for well over a decade as a DJ and club promoter. 
Her reputation as a versatile artist is built on a deep interest for techno and house music, and her talent has taken her to some of Norway's top clubs, venues, and festivals including the open-air festival in Oslo, Sommerøya.
She has graced the decks at some of the country’s most esteemed venues like The Villa, Jaeger, Elefant, Storgata 26, and Hausmania in Oslo, Skur14 in Bergen, BrukBar/Blæst and Rockheim in Trondheim, and Cementen in Stavanger.

Faia's reputation has spread beyond Norway's borders, with bookings at renowned techno and house clubs across Europe, including Culture Box, Ved Siden Af, Club VOID, The Deaf Institute, LOFTAS, and Burning Man Week (SE). Her performances have taken her to Germany's top clubs like Rummels Bucht, Golden Gate, and Bohnengold, as well as festivals like Stroga Festival 2018, Sandsteinhöhlen 2019, MIT DIR Festival 2023, MOYN Festival 2024 and the popular livestream HÖR. In Thailand, she played at the Jai Thep Festival in 2019.

As a promoter, Faia has been instrumental in empowering female DJs in the industry, organizing successful Femmes Fatales' events with both local and international artists since 2010. She has also been a resident DJ with the Small Records label for many years and now runs the SmallCast mix series.

In 2018, Faia got into producing and started a collaboration with Norwegian producer Duppeditt. Together they co-own the label Romklang Records and have been releasing music. Their hard work has paid off, with the duo getting signed to the PointZer0 Rec label in 2021 and having three releases on their V.A series 'The Explorer'. In 2022, they released 'Small Beings' on Music4Aliens V.A 'New Aliens Vol.3', and released their first ‘Escape EP’ on Amw Black Label in 2023. They also joined Joker Black Label in 2024 with the Alpha Machine EP.
