Forming for the ultimate college gig, Hampshire Halloween 2012, FIG and A Little Inappropriate met a welcoming reception and strong encouragement to continue performing. Since then, they have played sold out shows at the Red Barn, unforgettable house-parties, and are booked for upcoming festivals, live radio sets, more headlining slots at unforgettable parties, and gigs in downtown Northampton. FIG and a Little Inappropriate is the unique fusion of modern hip-hop with tasteful soul and funk raging, with influence from Herbie Hancock, to Lettuce, to Lauryn Hill. They have covered Chic, Otis Redding, and even NWA and Snoop Dogg. They are constantly looking to expand their fan base, and play any show in their means. They are located in Amherst, MA and expect a mastered three-song EP this spring.
