"Multi" is a video art collaboration between electronic music composers Oliver Ho & Danny Passarella and filmmakers Rufus Ho & Javier Gallego. 

A process in 4 parts - Male, Female, Back and Forth Oliver Ho, producer of textural techno/noise music has collaborated with Danny Passarella, clothes designer and producer of cinematic synth explorations to create 'Multi'. 

"Coming in four parts, it is an exploration of gender and growth, moving between the superficially binary genders, creating new identities through this process."

Solid Steel in association with Serato (13th May) Roly Porter takes charge of Hr 1 this week. He began his career as part of Vex’d alongside Kuedo, releasing two albums, Degenerate and Cloud Seed, both on Planet Mu, along with several singles on Bristol’s Subtext imprint. He later returned to Subtext under his own name to begin a solo project, releasing 'Aftertime' and 'Life Cycle of a Massive Star'. Earlier this year he released Third Law on TriAngle and 2 tracks from the album feature in his mix alongside music from Surgeon, Kowton, Amnesia Scanner, Yearning Kru and Aisha Devi.

Fortuna Co-Founder Kalbata takes the controls for this new, Middle Eastern Techno banger!

Al-Shark is a banging Arab Farfisa excursion played frantically on an analog techno rhythm section. It's the first release from the Fortuna camp which is not a reissue, but worry not, this could easily be an ancient Lebanese proto-House experiment unearthed from a dusty reel.For the B-side Kalbata takes things even further with a tribal relick of the original, placing us in a voodoo ceremony where ghosts of sinners come to dance. Already on heavy rotation by Gilles Peterson and Acid Arab, this anthemic 12 is not to be missed! Limited vinyl!
