Som konfetti, saktar dalar vi
Ned mot gatan, där allt är vått
Inget varar, endast kort
Som konfetti, ett fyrverkeri
Som konfetti, ett färgglatt hymleri
Inget sprakar, allt är tyst
ingen värme, ingen kyss

Ingen annans tunga smakar så sött,
ingen annans fingrar väcker min törst
som killen - han som räddade liv
Men det finns ingen ork, inte heller nån tid
Det finns ingen vilja att dela mitt liv
av killen, jag var bara naiv

Ingen annans blickar gör mig så svag
ingen annans tystnad ger välbehag
som killen, men vad har jag för val?

Han är så trött, han är så svag
och jag blir stött, men jag står kvar
för det finns ingen alls, ingenstans, som har det han har
jag kramar bort det som jag flyr
jag låtsas som jag inte bryr
mig men fattar att det vi haft bara var
